Had an amazing dinner at Bibimbar!! We loved the pork tonkatsu bao and new volcano KFC🤩 Our favourite dish was the kimchi tonkatsu nabe which is perfect for a cold night, a great winter warmer! Staff were super friendly and we had a great evening, definitely will be back😊

LOVE THE VIBE. Food was so yum, the pork belly was a bit oily, and they gave us only 3 pieces of lettuce 😅. The tok pan thing was huge, rich in flavour, RECOMMEND. Staffs are friendly.

Food was great. I had a bibimbab with beef, chicken ramyu and seafood pancake, portions were good and fare price. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The people there are extremely friendly and the food is spectacularly delicious and hearty!

I must confess, I found this place a month or two ago over the internet while searching for good Korean food. Willing to give this place a try, I went over for lunch one day. Afterwards, I've become a regular customer!

Bibimbar has a nice selection of excellent Korean soul food: you've got the regular Bibimbub (of course) that is nice and basic, Japchae glass noodles which are honestly a fun and filling eating experience that is paired with an excellent sauce, and the Kimchi fried rice, which is nice and flavorful with every mouthful, to name a few off the menu.

However, my personal favorite item that they have in store is the Soondubu Jigae... the seafood and tofu soup. This has become my go-to meal almost every time I visit the shop!

Where do I begin? The soup is nice amd brothy, full of rich, hearty flavors that sizzle one's palette! The chilli pairs extremely well with the tofu and egg stored deep inside the bubbling broth, as they enhance the mix of seafood swirling inside. Pair all that up with the rice that comes with the whole thing, and you have yourself a recipe for a soup that warms the very depths of one's soul! The trick is to dump all the rice in the soup and mix well before mouthwatering consumption!

I honestly, I couldn't sing my praises enough for this store! Since I'm a regular, the people there always recognize me and it's a joy eating all the delicious and hearty goodies they've prepared for me! Throw in a nice and hip atmosphere that's always paired with some topical K-Pop in the background, and you have yourself one of the best Korean soul food joints in Sydney! I highly recommend this place!

Amazing food and friendly service! Definitely a neighbourhood gem and my new go-to for authentic Korean food with a modern twist. Have tried most items on the menu and nothing disappoints. Hard to pick a favourite but if I had to the seafood pajeon is perfect!

Cute and value for money Korean place. There’s great options for vegetarian and brown rice in the bibimbap, which is great for health conscious folks. We tried the veggie bibimbap, pork bibimbap and japchae with beef. For less than $20, you get a great portion of food. I even got quite a lot of noodles to pack. The beef unfortunately was abit dry.

There’s some bench tables that are great for groups of 6 to 8 people, and we managed to get seats without booking on a Monday. The video screen was a bit distracting, but plays many current music videos.

We were back and this time there was no brown rice available for bibimbap. The fried chicken ramyun was good - fried chicken pieces with instant ramen style that was not so spicy. We also tried the toppokki that came with fish cake and fried vermicelli pieces - a bit too sweet. Mandu is fried and not steamed as I thought.

Found this fantastic restaurant in a hurry then just went for it.
Seems so popular nearly couldn't get a table then luckily waitress let us have last table. Phew~ we're in hurry before the concert.
Food was reasonably quick, neat and so tasty.
Excellent place made me for making a reservation next time.
One thing downside was noise inside of restaurant and difficult to find a parking spot near by...but we're lucky tonight! 💜
We'll definitely visit there again soon to try other menu.

Delicious lunch spot. We came for a weekend lunch after craving Korean food and were not disappointed. The serving is big and the prices are very decent ($13 for bibimbap + $3 for meat, $16 for pork stew). We will definitely be returning to try more things on the menu.

My only minor disappointment was the cutlery - fairly old and the chopsticks looked like they had been chewed on a lot.

Really cute venue with a traditional Korean vibe in the cutlery and the school box style. Food was super tasty. We tried the honey garlic popcorn chicken, kimchi jiggae and seafood pancake. Lots of food for two!
Asahi was available on tap.

I have to say, ...I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in. I had assorted Ddukbokki, with a couple of beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want nice chill out with friends keen to experience fusion Korean restaurant night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups. Will revisit if I have a chance to be near here ;)

Everything here is amazing. Try their seafood pancake, one of the best I've had. The baos or steamed buns they have come in different varieties. We chose the bulgogi beef which was super tasty. Service is warm and friendly. We'll be back.

The best Korean I've ever had... seriously!
Every dish was fantastic. Good service and bit of a hipster vibe.

Was pretty baby friendly too although we were the only table with a baby that night.

Would definitely come back

For me I will keep coming here till I try all the options, and would highly recommend Bibimbar.

Great new place filling a definite need for good Korean food in the Inner West. Authentic flavours, generous servings, and great atmosphere and music. We shared fried chicken, rice cake hotpot, and kimchi pancake with four people: we were all well fed and satisfied. Strongly recommend, will definitely be back again for more!

Came here for dinner before seeing a movie, service was quick and the food was very tasty. I’d been craving bibimbap so this hit the spot. The boneless Korean fried chicken was pretty good too. Also liked how KPop was playing in the background, will definitely be back to try more of the bigger share dishes

I said no to extra bread once in '79, and regret it every day since. There's no cure for carb' addiction. Unless you count eating carbs. The gear here is high carbon carb. Sticky, soupy, rich, crunchy and often all in the same spoonful. It's like Christmas every day here, if Christmas is a day when the Turkey is crunchy fried chicken bites in spicy, seafood-wafting sauce slurp, and everything else christmassy is all the other Korean carb heaven. You can even choose brown rice for your bibimbap, if you love your carbs to be universally virtuous. It's a mad house....a carby happy mad house.

Great service, amazing food & a nice space to eat in. Had a couple of bibimbap bowls & kimbap with a drink for under $50. This filled up two hungry people; there was a good amount of meat, a tonne of vegetables & the right amount of rice (a lot of the time you just pay for rice with hardly anything else in these dishes). Loved my first visit & very much looking forward to coming here again to try everything on the menu. I’d personally love to see them have a dol sot bibimbap going forward too.
