Peg Leg Tavern

Went here because I've heard the Sunday roast is worth checking out. They opened late (big one the night before?) but the roast beef was great with a fine Yorkshire pudding. The roast pork looked pretty great as well. Friendly guy on the bar and super relaxed.

Great little "hole in the wall!" Just finished a 3.5 hour kayaking trip and needed something to fill the void. The guide recommend this place so I stopped in for fish and chips alongside a cold beer. Very cool and comfortable pirate themed atmosphere. Food was amazing and the staff as well! Wish I lived here so I could return!

One of the best bars in Sydney!!! Come to think of it, probably THE best!! I love it, all of it; the cocktails, the food, the atmosphere, the guys that run it...and pirate themed :) who can ask for more??

I really enjoyed this pirate theme tavern. A place with nice atmosphere to chill and enjoy a drink with a friend. Long hair bartender and staff were friendly.

Really exceptional service!! The bartender/waiter was great!! The sunday roast was great!! The chef even gave us some fresh Yorkshire pudding on our way out!! Will definitely be back!!

Ahoy! It's rare that you get American style dive bars in Sydney. The peg leg is a quaint and cozy little bar, with stools facing the bar.

Good vibe, which draws an uncharacteristically international crowd which makes sense given where it is located, a few hundred yards from the casino, and a few more hundred from the wharf.

Stop by and make your night a novel one.

Walk in to an Ahoy and get passed a map with a bunch of treasur- I mean cocktails to choose from. The antidote was my personal favorite.

Nice place that is just a lil away from the loud harbour if you want to escape it. Fun bar staff. Apparently the HQ of the campaign to make the Australian dollar a dollary doo. So you can't go wrong there.

Visited this amazing bar before a show at the lyric and it was just amazing. We didn’t want to leave. The bartenders were amazing greeting everyone who walked in with a hearty “ahoy there” and made you feel so comfortable. The cocktails were phenomenal and when we asked the bartender to surprise us they were even better being made individually to suit our flavor likes. Can’t wait to go back to this bar

Love this place! The service is amazing, so is their food and drink menu. They are very dog friendly and always show Martha lots of love when she's there. Special mention to the Sunday roast, the pork crackling is delicious. Also the staff are lots of fun, they have such great banter

Absolutely incredible. Great drinks, served by some wonderfully colouful characters. The bartender is incredibly accurate when he throws the coasters on the table.

Great place and great staff too they are so friendly. Nice to enjoy Saturday night or any other day
