The Burek Guy Dee Why

Absolutely delicious! Very basic looking shop, cooking up amazing, flaky, crunchy and tasty burek. We had a slice of the cheese and spinach as well as the apple version. Both generously filled with delicious quality ingredients, well balanced and seasoned. So happy we came here and will be back.

You have to try it to understand what I mean.
It changes you and open your horizons as well your taste buds...My favourite Burek is with spinach and cheese...you can try only with cheese, meat, apple...choice is yours!!!!

This place has by far the best Burek in Sydney! Crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. The meat and cheese are super flavorsome!

They also have many Balkan/Euro groceries!

Lovely traditional Balkan foods, including lots of imported produce. The fresh baked goods are made with great care - preferring local produce, and no nasty chemicals (which I would otherwise react to).
To top it off - the owner, Mark, is super friendly, helpful and enthusiastic.

I would eat nothing but Burek if I got half the chance...these guys produce some absolute gold. I've also heard rumors that the owner is a crazy good street dancer! If he serves you up you better be ready to rock it!

We got the meat and onion and the cheese and spinach bureks. Both were really nice and the portion size was huge! We also splurged on the jam and Nutella donuts. Happy all around and friendly service! Good quick stop for take away food and a nice little grocery attached with authentic European goods.

This has been a wonderful addition to the Dee Why community! The Burek is amazing and highly addictive. The place is nicely renovated, clean and the staff/owner always friendly. Love you Burek guy ❤

Only just recently discovered this hidden gem. Thank you 'The Burek Guy'. Generous filling and outside pastry flaky and crunchy like it should be!

Loved our Bureks from here and was so pleased to find a shop that sells frozen sour cherries on the northern beaches.

First time Burek-ing, I had no idea what i was getting myself into. Ended up doing 3 trips to get more for the whole family - this stuff is amazing
