Waterfront Grill

We dined at 7:00pm on a Saturday.
They were busy, but we were seated immediately. The staff members were friendly and attentive.
The menu was geared towards ribs, steak, lamb etc. and came with friends or mashed potato. There were many other options that could be added - salads, vegetables and pasta.
The drinks menu was excellent, with some impressive cocktails, a good range of wines and a good selection of beer.
Our order was taken quickly and the drinks arrived immediately.
The food wasn’t far behind. We had lamb shanks, wagyu steak and sirloin steak. There were a number of sauces to choose, with mine being the garlic truffle butter, which was magical.
The food was expertly cooked and delicious.
There was an extensive dessert menu, but we didn’t order.
The atmosphere was welcoming and the seating comfortable. The view over the harbour was a treat.
Families were welcomed.

I am so surprised to see this restaurant has only 3.8 stars. In my opinion, it should be absolutely more than that.

Location: 10/10. Perfect location. Right in front of of the waterfront. You eat your dinner when seeing everything of Darling harbor.

Food: 10/10. Food quality is 9, but the quantity is absolutely more than 10. For A$40, we got one rack of lamb ribs which contains more than 17 pieces.

Service: 10/10.

Highly recommend to give it a try and review it.

Been to this place twice and was seated as soon as we arrived both times. We decided both times to get huge meat bundle for two with plenty of ribs, chicken, steak, chips etc. Both times were super yummy and juicy. One of my favourite places to dine at Darling Harbour, definitely be going again!

Good food and drinks and service. The waiters are very friendly too. Needs to have more vegetarian options as well 😊

The best place to dine in Sydney! Great location, service is amazing and the food is consistently delicious. Sam, Danny and the team are a great bunch, very friendly and professional.

Very rare to find such a gem in Sydney, but this place caters to all foodies!

Beautiful food! I had schnitzel with chips & slaw, partner had medium rare steak both had ample amounts of flavour & was absolutely delicious! Schnitzel was huge, I was so sad I couldn't eat the whole thing!
The staff also accomdated our son who had multiple tantrums whilst we were there, the waiter kept speaking to him & gave him a colouring menu, which we really appreciated rather then the normal looks of daggers we receive!
We will be back on our next visit to Darling Harbour.

We had a beer, wine, and grilled halloumi today evening. The food was good and the service was awesome by the waitress who served our table by the perimeter outside. She was very friendly and nice. Enjoyed our evening here in Sydney.

First time having kangaroo meat and was more than pleased with the taste and the staff recommended medium rare vs. me asking for medium well. Great vibes, views and wine.

Good food, good view, waterfront price, suitable for family or friends gathering and having lunch or dinner together. Drinks are available we liked the 3L tube tower beer. Tables are available for booking in advance. Easy book online. Friendly stuff. Recommended.

The steak was delicious!! The Darling Harbour atmosphere along with the friendly staff makes it a memorable experience.

Food and environment were fine, but what made my dinner a 5 star one was the big smile and friendliness of one of the waiters! Guy is super approachable, really tried to help us find the table we wanted, joked with us, and was honest when we asked about the menu.
By far one of the best services I ever had in Australia!

Absolutely lovely service!! We had our dog tethered just outside our table and the staff were so generous as to bring him a bowl of water and give him a rib bone to chew on. The steak was cooked great and we loved the views. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back 💛👍

This is a great place for a relaxed dining experience. All staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The food came out quickly and was delicious but he weren't rushed to eat. Great price, will definitely return.

The first, and probably last, time I have ever eaten kangaroo. What an interesting experience. The mashed potatoes were out of this world.

Nice restaurant with good food and ambience. Staffs were busy but managed to get a table for us. Nisha was a magnificent wait staff who was quite good with her services. We were a group of 7 and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner yesterday. This restaurant deserves 5/5 stars.

Our family have been here a couple of times. The steak and ribs combo is really tasty and reasonably priced for a location and harbour view. Service by staff and management is great. We were greeted at the door most of the time, if they are busy, you get to understand that it is everywhere else that you get to make eye contact and call them. Here they greet you super friendly and welcoming. We chatted to the staff for Christmas booking and most serviceable that the manager came to take details of the booking requirement. Definitely come many times, their recipe for ribs is just so delicious and their service is again exceptional. Dont listen to the haters, you need to try this out before you die boys!!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Been twice in the space of a week that's how highly impressed we were with their food and excellent service. Staff & managers on duty were extremely attentive & accommodating. If you're looking for a relaxed dining experience with just your partner or a fun night out with your whole family, the setting & atmosphere can help you celebrate any occasion...we can't wait to get back!

Service from the manager was absolutely amazing. Had a fantastic experience food was on point. Cannot fault anything. Highly recommend. Will be back. I hope the owner gives the manager a raise. Well deserved.
