The Old Mill Cafe & Restaurant

Country cafe food at its very best. The beef & shiraz pie and brisket beef burger were both excellent. Asked for no chips on both and got a bumper salad to make up for it without asking. Coffees were very good too.

Low $20s for each dish, felt like a fair price for the high quality.

Outdoor tables are sprinkled through the garden around a pond with sparrows flitting through the trees around you.

Staff were really friendly and obliging. All inhouse made cakes and other delicious looking food. Really well priced.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. We stopped here for lunch on our way home from Orange and found it to be the best dining experience of our time away. I highly recommend stopping here for lunch. The organic wine from the cellar door across the road was delicious too!

Have been here twice in a week. Taken friends and family there. Place is lovely, staff super friendly and food delicious. We ordered and the coffees then the food (which was on warmed plates) came out super quick. It was all delicious, so had to go back for more.
Had the smashed avo on turkish with goats cheese and scrambled eggs and then also have had the breaky bruschetta with scrambled eggs fresh cherry tomatoes and bacon that was sooo tasty.
I shall be back, I plan on eating my way through their delicious menu.

Famous for their amazing Lemon Meringue pies, the brisket pie ain't half bad either. Nice local wines. A very good coffee shop menu. Delightful staff.

Lovely food, fast service and great atmosphere.

Worth a drive from surrounding areas to come have a meal then take a stroll around town.

Any negative reviewers must have very unreasonable expectations, or delusions of grandeur.

A cosy cafe with pretty decor. Service was efficient and friendly. Lots of tables were reserved but staff were accommodating to fit us in (a group of 7). Coffee was good but strong.

Food is fabulous. The service is wonderful + the lovely outdoor area is sublime. We always stop on our way to or from Orange. If you're hungry, good, as the serves are HUGE!

Take yourself out to Millthorpe and take in the old world charm of this little town. Food at the Old Mill cafe was devine. Service impeccable and prices were great. Lots of options and the desserts were devine. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful little Cafe.
I didn't order any food, but I ordered an Iced Mocha which was delicious and beautifully presented, and my friend got a hot Mocha and they ready enjoyed it.
The atmosphere is very cottagecore with beautiful greenery everywhere.

Great atmosphere here, staff are very welcoming and accommodating. They even offered some water for our puppy. Beautiful location as you can see by the picture. Inside is renovated and has a nice theme. Food was delicious, definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Our second visit in 2 years to this lovely cafe. A great stop on the way to Orange from Sydney. Wonderful brunch, seated outside with cosy blanket. Gluten free quiche was delicious. Service spot on. Coffee great as well. Beautiful selection of housemade cakes (GF available) which we took home with us. A fav Cafe of ours for sure. Thank you

Amazing lemon meringue pie! Coffee was very nice as well. All the other food looks lovely and fresh but will have to try next time.
