Oriental grocer

Last few months i started visiting this store, my experience is excellent every time I visit. The lady name Rose is wonderful in nature. Always try to help to find what we need if they don't have in stocks try to get it . Highly recommend. Very happy with the service 🫰

Our family has been going to this Oriental grocery since 2015. Have seen the growth if this store from their old location to this new one which is very nice , well lit and organised. They have added more stuff that most Asians needed. Fresh produced and more variety of frozen vegies. 👍❤👍
The manager and her team are friendly and accomodating. I can trust to leave my other groceries while I go shopping at different specialty stores within Minto Mall or while having medical appointment downstairs. . Thank you for being family oriented and cool to your customers… Keep up the great job for delivering us great customer support. 👍

best store to shop for me n my family..

from snacks/noodles to chinese frozen buns/jasmine rice or indian lentils/masala powders.. even fresh veges r so worth buying here than at woolies fresher,bigger quantity and cheaper.. always my fav spot to go for grocery shopping..

the lady boss looked stern at first bt as u gt to knw her, c is such a lovely lady goes on to help u find wud u cant find on the shelves..

The manager is so rude and has no people skills, she should be sacked as this business will go down for sure … this woman should spoken to … I will never go to this store again at minto mall

Oriental grocer is a store I have always been going to and every time I’m in there I always witness the manager being so unpleasant to the customers and the employees. She’s very ill-mannered, always yelling at the employees and giving so much attitude to the customers. The employees work very hard and she just dismissed their hard work. One of the interaction I had with her was when I was looking for a product, she walked up to me and she lashes out saying “ Are you blind? Can’t you not see? The product is right there in front of you.” It was the worst experience I had. I know that you a customer definitely wouldn’t want to be treated like that. She was so rude and she definitely does not deserve to be the manager, being the manager means that you are the leader of your organisation and you’re leading you’re team members. It means empowering you’re team, communicating well with them not yelling at them, listening to their concerns, helping your members, working well with them, treating them fairly and with respect which I haven’t seen from this manager when I visit the store. The employees are very mistreated and the way she interacts with the customers is equally as bad. If this store wasn’t a walking distance from my place or didn’t have the products I needed I would never come back to this again.

The behaviour of the manager or owner is so rude and bad. Seems like she is unpleasant about the whole world. So this morning i bought 2 bunch of english choi by looking at the level 2 for 4 otherwise 2.50 each. When i paid for that the other lady who was serving me charged $5. From curiosity, i asked the level is for 2 for4, she said i will check with manager. On that time the other lady(manager) came to the sean and replied with a rude voiche no you checked the wrong lebel. I said with smile no you check properly and also you dont need to be angry it is just $1 and i am just asking, she said no i am not talking to you,🤔 and was shouting with her epmloyee. At one point she said give him 1 doller tike throwing a coin to the begger 🤢🤢🤢.However, i left the place without taking the the money as i was feeling so gross to have any further conversation with her.

Its a neighbourhood shop and the most frequent customers are local. I have heard about a rude personally on that shop, today it was my turn to face that sick mentality personal. I personally believe she need to take medical advice to check her mental health otherwith one day she will be burnt with her own anger. Also i felt bad for those who work with her.

A negative atmosphere to Shop with and highly discourage not to go there.

This shop is very good it has most of the things I need but my only complain is the manager. It is because I see her treat her customers and employees Soo poorly. I really think she should be kicked out.

First time I went there it was about to close so I had to rush, the lady owner started talking to the other staff and I’m pretty sure they were talking about me.. whenever they said "her" they just looked at me and laughed.. it got awkward for me so I just left. The next and last time I went there, I was about to go to the checkout, and the lady owner, pulled the worker at the counter away just to have a conversation… I was waiting literally for 5 minutes just for them to finish their conversation even tho they saw me like multiple times, I don’t blame the counter lady, I blame the lady owner. The store lacks of customer service.

Lady owner should be kicked out from Australia. RIP customer service. Don't go to this shop even by mistake. This Asian owner deserves negative Stars. I will never ever going back to this store.

SO much useless Attitude!!!!
She has no customer serving etiquettes...well she needs to learn it..
Instead of greeting me I greeted her and what I got?? An attitude!!!!!!
Like I am getting veggies for free!!!!
I pay for those veggies..
Because she was so rude i asked for my money back and she started shouting at me and chucked my bag of veggies on the shop floor..who wants to take groceries that someone chucked on the floor..such an insulting personality she is..
And there is more to say..
She started swearing me in Nepalese!!!!! She Insulted me!!!!!!
There's no way I take anything from that freaking shop!!!!!!!
I would have given a big zero 0 for a review if there was an option.

Very rude lady who had no intention of helping me. No customer service skills. I went to woolworths instead where they are much nicer and speak proper english. Will not return here!!! Would rate no stars if I could.
