This mini park is one of the reasons why I love Sydney. It has beautiful harbour views, beautiful gardens, secluded and doubles as a ferry stop.

My guess is some wealthy industrialist a long time ago convinced some politician to pretty up the ugly ferry stop near their residence.

Either way parks like these make for some magical spots around the harbour.

Approve.

Excellent spot to watch the Sydney NYE fireworks and the display on the Harbour Bridge. A bit of a walk from a car park unless you are here early but well worth the walk. Awesome view of the Harbour and you can get here by Ferry any other time for a picnic or an afternoon in the sun by the water.

One of Sydney's best parks. Very scenic. There is a ferry stop nearby too if you need.

McKell Park, Darling Point.

I Like the Darling Point area, it is very close to the City, very quiet and the views are simply breathtaking. People are very nice, polite and relaxed. One of my favourite spots in Darling Point is McKell Park and Darling Point Wharf. It is very peaceful and tourist-free despite the amazing Harbour views. If you closely examine the park you will notice that it incorporates the foundations of an old Canonbury House which was one of the most prestigious Sydney properties. It was built in Gothic style in 1904 and later used as a Women's hospital before being demolished in 1983.

So relaxing. Quiet and a lot to see and contemplate. Go out of peak times and have the place to yourself (almost). Ferry stops here. To city or Double bay. Water clear and Ocean green. View of the harbour bridge and the city skyline from the east. There used to be a mansion here but it was pulled down and the area made a public park. Remnants of the building still exist.

Lovely place looking over the harbour! It isn’t really busy so it’s a great place to have a picnic. There are bins around but didn’t see any BBQ’s. Toilets are really close as well.
Parking is really hard to find so defiantly get there earlier if you want a space. Other then that, lovely and well maintained grass area.

A sweet little boutique park nestled at the end of an upmarket suburb.
A local favourite for picnics, sunset drinks and a cheeky swim from the ferry pier in a hot summers evening.
Unfortunately dogs aren't allowed on the grounds 😓

Nice park, even if quite small, with great views of the Harbour. A ferry stop is accessed through the park. There is no beach, but a grassy area below the park along the seawall is accessible.
