Palace Café and Catering

The owners and staff here are really friendly and I'm so happy every time I see them! This is my favourite Cafe in Sydney and they have the perfect location advantage! Not only that, their cupcakes and Omelette are my favourite food.

Great breakfast spot! Very friendly service and they make a great coffee. Breakfast board is fantastic and well presented, and the rest of the menu looks delicious. I will definitely be back.

What an amazing and lovely place. Such great hospitality is not easy to find, and despite this being our first (and 2 hours later, our second) visit, we immediately felt at home. Good food, great presentation.

Simple, healthy, yummy lunch specials for a work day bite, in addition to the standard cafe fare. What sets this place apart is the genuinely warm service & a few of the simple Japanese inspired menu options done really well. Yum. This is a very chill little local spot with a relaxed vibe & very limited seating inside. This place is more about having a smiley chat with the person behind the counter while you wait for your take away order or people watching when the place is buzzing & you've snagged one of the few seats in the joint. Highly recommend for a good value lunch or coffee with a smile.

Palace has it all! The food is great, there is so much on the menu, and I havnt been disappointed yet. Also - the friendliest and kindest service I have ever had.
Strongly recommend visiting for a breakfast that will give you a bit more faith in the world!

Without doubt, my fave cafe! This place is INCREDIBLE. Where to start. The staff are attentive, efficient and super friendly! They all work seamlessly with each other and when you walk through their door, they make you feel like family. Their menu (from gluten free pasta, to fresh salads, Momo dumplings, burgers, sandwiches, big brekkies, smoothies, juices etc) is really quite incredible for such a seemingly small place. There's always yummy vegan, gluten free, vegetarian options, I'm always spoilt for choice. The prices are amazingly reasonable too. They're super clean everything is wiped down, they even take temperatures from people. I feel very safe eating here. 10 mins walk or so from Central station and next to bus stops, with some street parking. This is my go to for reasonably priced, amazingly fresh food served by genuinely lovely people, every time!

There’s many cafes in the Chippendale area, but Palace is by far the best. They instantly brought a personable feel to their cafe, with a genuine, warm, experience to a daily routine. The staff have a family feel and have provided fantstic catering services, knowing the value of treating the customer right and with integrity. Can’t rate them highly enough!

Excellent cafe with the nicest owners - if you're looking for a great local coffee with a smile, I highly recommend this place. Try it once and you'll see what I mean.

I used Palace Cafe for catering, the selection was awesome and very reasonably priced. Fruit and baked items were fresh and the sandwiches were great. Service was super friendly and helpful, I'd recommend to others catering for team events, meetings or conferences.

I just saw a customer walk out, cross the road and drop his drink on the ground, spilling everywhere. The guy from the cafe saw, came out and gave him a new one. Not many places will chase you down to ensure you enjoy your lunch!

Best customer service ever! They are always welcoming and gave you more than just service. Coffee and breaky all good. I can’t find other place where more friendly than here. 👍

We had a good experience here with the establishment’s friendly staff and exceptional coffee. The place was so conveniently placed and had a homy feel to it.

Ive lived in the area for a long time, and this is still my favourite cafe. Always a pleasure to come in in the mornings and receiving a warm small every day!
