Our cousin found this place based on the reviews of this restaurant and we all enjoyed the food.

What we ordered: agedashi nasu (eggplant), agedashi tofu, chicken katsu , karaage, original curry, vegetable gyoza, kogane chicken ramen, pork gyoza, cabbage & beansprouts. Everything was absolutely delicious and the food was served very quickly.

The service was wonderful and who assisted us was so helpful and kind. On the app, the agedashi nasu (eggplant) showed it was sold out but we asked Yanti and she graciously said she’d ask the chefs and because she asked, the chefs went out of their way to make it for us.

If you love ramen or want vegetarian options give them a try.

Overall: 6/7
Extremely rich soup bases that make your lips stick together. Definitely not somewhere to go casually - it’s a big meal.
Think their noodles could be better though, would prefer firmer.

It is a cozy haven on a chilly night, offering warm sake and delightful company. The Izakaya menu provided a delectable journey through Japanese flavors. Both the Salmon and Kingfish Sashimi were exceptionally fresh and bursting with flavor. However, the true stars of the evening were the Spicy Yuzu Soy Karaage and Miso Truffle Tomorokoshi. The Karaage boasted a perfect balance of spice and citrus, while the Miso Truffle Tomorokoshi delivered a delightful umami explosion with every bite. The Pork Belly Kushiyaki and Katsu Tama Don were also noteworthy, showcasing the restaurant's culinary prowess. With its inviting ambiance and exquisite dishes, this place is a must-visit for any Japanese cuisine enthusiast. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!

I tried their Yasaka’s new izakaya menu, offering warm sake through Japanese cuisine. The izakaya menu is a flavourful journey, with highlights of Yakitori, Skewers, Sides, Sushi & Sashimi, and Fried items. Warming ambiance and best staff service. Highly recommended!

We had a great meal at Yasaka dining on their izakaya menu - their tuna and salmon sashimi is fantastic quality and we loved the spicy yuzu karaage! Skewers were also excellent and service was super friendly, will be back to try their ramen :)

For all the ramen enthusiasts out there, this Sydney restaurant is an absolute must-try. Renowned for its delectable bowls of steaming hot ramen, it's a culinary gem that never fails to impress. The broth alone is a masterpiece, bursting with rich and savory flavors that leave your taste buds dancing with delight.

But that's not all – the toppings are another highlight of this dining experience. With a wide array of options to choose from, including succulent slices of chashu pork, perfectly boiled eggs, crisp bamboo shoots, and more, you can customize your bowl to suit your preferences and cravings.

Whenever I find myself longing for the flavors of Japan, this restaurant is my go-to destination. With each slurp of the savory broth and each bite of the tender noodles, I'm transported back to the bustling streets of Tokyo, indulging in the comforting warmth of a bowl of authentic ramen. It's a taste of Japan right here in Sydney, and I can't get enough of it.

Interesting place to eat. Limited vegetarian options but they assured me the vegetarian dishes do not use fish or oyster sauces.

You can customise the dish you order in the ordering app, to make it more "you". I picked the hottest option and was not disappointed. The chilli came as a bowl on the side and it was good and hot.

Staff were good, service was fairly quick. It's worth noting that there is a upstairs dining area. So don't be afraid to go in if it looks busy downstairs.

my absolute favourite ramen joint ever so far. the broths they do here are so spectacularly rich in flavour and they absolutely do not skimp out on it. you can simply tell its a broth made with so much love and effort, that it's been brewing for a good twelve hours before even being served for consumption. please eat here. every and any ramen dish will arise something in you.

Authentic and delicious ramen. With a large range of choices and also a few side dishes. Ordering is easy with QR code, you still pay after at the counter and there is a small discount of paying with cash. Food wise the ramen came out reasonably quickly and was delicious. Noodles were bouncy and the soup had a deep hearty flavour. The pork pieces melted in your mouth. One of the best ramen places in Sydney

Great Ramen and extremely well priced. Only recommendation I have is for a screen of some sort be placed behind your kitchen sink...as I was eating some if the spray from the water nozzle used there was coming over and onto me (and my Ramen). But the Ramen itself was perfect

Situated just 10 mins walk from George Street & Pitt Street (luxury shopping & dining).
(2 July 2023)
To order, scan the QR code on my table abd order. Ordered the Yasaka Special & Grilled Chasu Ramen. The Yasaka Ramen with Soy base gives my pallete a stronger & intense taste compared to the salt base.
Totally a great meal especially in the winter season.

tl, dr.: Thick & garlicky, this is vampire prevention at its best

A tiny, steamy shop in the middle of CBD (there's an upstairs, but I didn't see it), with counter seating only on the ground floor, this reminds me of the ramen shops in Japan. There are different styles of ramen (although some of them look very similar), and other dishes that are typically found in Australian Japanese restaurants (e.g. gyoza, curry etc.), but we didn't try those.

The soup was so thick it was almost chewable, and the garlic from the black garlic soup was incredibly strong, but we're garlic people, so that was enjoyable. People who aren't trying to avoid vampire attacks might not find it as delicious, so just be mindful. The o.g. tonkotsu ramen was actually more nuanced and complex than the black garlic ramen, and I actually liked that more. Despite the lack of ginourmous pork ribs and other bits and bobs of their more famous ramen, I found the simpler offering just as delish, and 10/10 will recommend and definitely come back.

Yasaka Special was excellent! The Ramen was al dente, Tonkotsu broth intense and I appreciate the generous serving of sliced Pork. The Octopus Karaage was fresh and batter crunchy. A very enjoyable meal!

All photos from seperate visits. Extremely delicious and not too pricey. The meat melts in your mouth and they follow instructions carefully.

There's always a lot of oil in the soup it becomes hard to drink, but I believe that is from the delicious meats.

Their opening hours are also very hard to determine without asking them directly as Google is incorrect.

Pretty good Japanese. Very busy. Ordered 4 meals and they all arrived quickly. Ramen was good although soup was a little thick compared to other ramens we have tried. Ponzu chicken i think it was... very nice.

We had Ramen Saturday and it was amazing. Nice flavour, noodles were really good, the Chashu, egg and fungus was all top tier. Broth had a lot of flavour and slightly on the thick side which I loved

We ordered the mashi king , $46 . Portion was more than enough for 2 people . Broth is very rich of flavor , I should have selects light option rather than original as it was quite rich for me . There are a lot of meat and even extra noddle offered as part of the meal .
