Very generous portion! Deluxe pork chop with broken rice (cơm tấm) is as yummy as always, but wish they could add a bit more roasted rice powder (thính) to the pig skin. BBQ pork is tender and I like the sauce they used for the dry egg noodle. Add lots of ice to the Longan and lotus seed and you’ll have a perfect dessert for summer 😋
Will come back to try Black herbal duck and crispy chicken.

This is my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in the city. I’m so glad they’ve opened one in darling square and we don’t have to go to the west to find delicious Vietnamese food. My favourite is the pork chop combination with broken rice. The the pork is so tasty and even their crispy skin chicken is cook to perfection. The service is great and food comes out straight away. You must also try the yummy drinks. The price is very reasonable and they service decent size portion.

Okay yum. This hidden gem of a restaurant was such a good place to go for some soul soothing soup noodles and mouthwatering crispy duck. It was so tasty I couldn’t stop eating.

Delicious food, with super fast and friendly service. Combo noodles were really tasty and reasonably priced at $19. Appreciate the complimentary tea too! No bathroom onsite, although there are public toilets 3 mins walk away (next to Starbucks)

Had lunch with the family here. We ordered 1 Combination with drop noodles and 1 Crispy Chicken with flat egg noodles. Portion for each noodle is generous and we like the crispy chicken very much! We also like the combination soup broth as it is full of flavour.

Everything was delicious. We had the spring rolls as entree and they were great: crunchy & well-seasoned. We also had their special pho, beef stew & egg noodle soup, and all were amazing in their own way!

The beef pho had an flavourful broth with deep beef flavour, the beef stew had the right thickness and taste, and the egg noodle soup had a light and comforting broth. They also offer different types of noodles: we tried most of them and they were all very good! They all had a slight chewiness which we like.

The crispy fried chicken was also well-done - the skin had a perfect crisp & amount of saltiness.

The portions were also huge - there were so much noodles in each bowl. For the price, that’s definitely a bargain! Would come back & recommend :)

Second time here, ordered egg noodle soup with crispy skin chicken. Did not disappoint. In fact the best I have had in Sydney. Had to wait in line for few minutes which is absolutely fine. The lady serving was super nice and friendly. What are you waiting for?

On the recommendation of friends we tried this place out and were pointed directly to the crispy chicken. I have no regrets at all. The rice drop noodle soup (banh canh) was also delicious, with a light and flavourful broth that wasn't heavily reliant on msg. Keen to come back!

My favourite lunch spot in Darling Square. The atmosphere is lively and the service is never slow, the staff get your order and your food to you quickly. The crispy chicken here is always reliable and super crispy and moist!

I've been going to their Cabramatta restaurant for years and I'm so glad there's a restaurant in the city now!!

Stopped by for lunch on a busy Sunday. The place looked full, but we were still found a seat. Service was fast and the food is great. We will be back

The crispy chicken is so crispy, a little fatty (which is good!) and the meat is so succulent you can’t stop eating it.
Loved the egg noodles and soup on the side. Everything is so flavourful. The staff are efficient and polite. Great place for a quick and filling lunch!

Small establish has couple outdoor tables.
It's quite popular so if you go at rush hour, you are likely will have to wait. The tables inside are close together which I didn't mind too much.
Food was really good, big in portion too. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.

Recommend their signature crispy skin chicken with the egg noodle. Presentation could be a bit better with the chicken but flavours are good. Service is speedy and food also comes out quickly. Can get pretty busy and packed during lunch hours but easier in smaller groups. Also their positioning means outside can get super windy.

Crispiest crispy chicken and great pork chops with tomato rice at this conveniently located restaurant in darling square. Also tried a egg noodle dish which was really good - good flavours with large pieces of chives. They also give you bone broth soups which tasted amazing, plus unlimited hot tea. Service was friendly, would go back!

True to its famous Cabramatta og restaurant, their famous crispy chicken did not disappoint. Found their beef noodle soup slightly on the sweeter side but still ok. Would highly recommend the crispy chicken with dry egg noodles!

First time to the city one, regular at the Eastwood restaurant. Rare beef Pho was delicious and generous portion for $18. Will return for the Crispy Skin chicken next round!

Awesome to see a restaurant which started in the West maintain its standard in the Sydney CBD. Even though prices were a bit more it was still worth it. Chicken was cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

The crispy chicken at Tan Viet is famous, and rightly so. The chicken skin is golden in hue, super crispy and the flesh is amazingly tender. Egg noodles are the most popular accompaniment to this dish, the huge portion topped with crisp iceberg lettuce, coriander leaves, garlic chives and crunchy smithereens of deep-fried garlic. Can anybody name a better crispy skin chicken in Sydney.
