Cahill Park Playground

Nice little parklands beside cooks river. It has a full oval with soccer/football goals for winter and a cricket pitch for summer. There is a large playground for kids to play and different well latex out bike tracks safe for walk and little kids on bikes.

Excellent park and playground. There is a variety of play equipment to suit a variety of ages, including a sandpit for toddlers.

Council have recently added more shade clothes, so most of the play equipment is now shaded.

The playground is fenced off. There are water bubblers, seating with tables and grassed picnic spots.

Outside the fenced area, there are BBQs and shaded tables for eating. The paved walkways are excellent for walking or riding along the river.

Park is a lot bigger than these photos suggest, there's also a lovely undercover area with two tables. Well kept and clean.

Very difficult to find parking though.

Sat in one of the seats facing the river.. time literally slowed down.. very refreshing and relaxing

Kids friendly play area, lots of activities to keep them busy, walking tails and good picnic spots next to water

Great playground with a variety of surfaces like sand, bark and grass. Large enough to find your own place and close to shops. Other big grounds and nice walking track as well for bigger kids. Has public toilets. Parking can be difficult at times.

I don't like stay in airplort. When I in the time for transfer
you can walking out just for 20min get this beautiful park
stay here eating is not a bad thing

Great park for little ones. Heaps to do and some tables for parents to set up an be comfortable as well.

Good park for both older and small kids. It's quite big and fenced so don't need to worry too much of toddlers run out to a busy road. Parking looks decent but can be packed on weekend.

This is a new playground for world creek. It's not far from the airport. Forced gate and bicycle ride roads are good for safety.

It located the seaside, someone did fishing. But park still in the update, no bathroom. If you need it, should cross the road to Woolworths.

It closes will creek train station, many restaurants, shops on there.

A small car parking is in front of the park, only can parking 6 cars recently, after the update will get more.

Great big enclosed playground. It was busy but still had enough equipment for kids and seats/space for adults. Younger kids can scoot/ride around outer ring without worrying about them going too far, within sight all the time. Easy free parking.

Kids loved it! Beautiful park for both older & younger children. Lots to do, safe fenced area & there's a bubbler so if you forget your water bottle there's water on hand. Park was clean. Water views also a bonus.

Two BBQ spots, nice new toilets, drinking water, river views, next to woolies, Aldi and Rower Clubs. It is a very convenient family place. Some free parking around George River in Tempe areas as well (if you run out some free parkings around the park, then you can just walk and cross the bridge on Princes Highway).

Love this new playground for the kids, the surrounding trees and grass makes you feel like on holidays.

Toilets, shade, grassy areas, some seating. Playground to suit little and big kids. Mid week parking is easy, weekends not so much so if your not a local who can walk there it may be tricky

At Cahill Park Playground the fun stuff blends into nature, with surfaces made of sand, woodchips and sandstone rocks. Structures are challenging, for instance the slide doesn't have stairs or a ladder, but a big climbing frame (much to Mr 3's dismay). Things have to be worked out, so while older kids can climb the structure, younger kids must do their best to climb up the slide itself (which can cause major traffic jams as you'd imagine). But this is the beauty of the park, it forces kids to use their imaginations and have some free-play in an unstructured environment

What an excellent place for kids and parents alike. The way the park has been cleaned up is amazing. When the new facilities are finished it will look absolutely

Cahill park is located nearby cooks river. Variety of swings.
Saperate sand pit with few rides for toddler.
Too many spots for sitting.
Many shaded sitting areas near by river.
Bubblers on few spots. Public toilets available near by parking area.
Large grass field to play diffrent games such as soccer.
2 Big party areas near play ground. Big shaded area nearby playground with 4 benches.
The only negative point is . It's nearby highway and very heavy traffic all the time....with kids we need extra attentive as there is no boundary bars between park and highway...

Best park I've been to lately. New play set, shaded, pretty well lit, and next to the water. Plenty of benches to sit on. Nice pathways for a run. Clean.
