camp here many times, love the atmosphere, easy walking trail and you can see beautiful flower and birds.
But on fire danger season seems like the gate close at certain time.

A wonderful day out for the family! We secured a lovely fire pit and brought our own wood to start a fire. Perfect gathering place! Kids loved the creek and sliding down the mud hills and running through the forest identifying mushrooms. When it started to rain more heavily, we headed under the shelter until it passed.

Fantastic place to go for a hike, fresh air, mostly flat. We visited mid May and we got to see various mushrooms. Bark shredding and moss filled tree trunks, absolutely beautiful to see and walk amongst.

Site 13. All sites pretty tight together. Toilets are 3-5min cutting thru the woods.
ONLY SOME of the camp sites allow vehicle access. So if you've an RTT or trailor, check the site details on the booking oage first!
Looks like the most secluded is site 19 if you can get it.

Toilets? 3 brand new disabled access drop toilets with flush.
Telstra? 4g 1 bar or 3g full bars.
Fires? Heappppssss of firewood. It's only start of fire season (May-Oct) but still, so much. You're allowed to use anything on the ground. No chainsaws or cutting live trees tho.
Privacy? Not much. Can see in from the roads easily. Between 10-50m max between sites.

Stunning location. Koalas grunting away at night very close to the site. Less than 40m I'd take a guess. Possums taking a nose around my swag. Overall love it! Deffo come back. Easy access from the city.

This is a nice campground for a one night stay. Very close to Adelaide - about 45 mins away. There are some basic facilities. You need to book online and are allocated a camp space. We were at campsite 9 which is a short walk from the toilets. Campfires are allowed. Camp sites are fairly well spaced out. You can’t pull your car directly into the campsite but you’ll be able to get it within a couple metres.

Has some amazing trails to walk the dog and get some fresh air. Very crowded during the long weekend.

Some beautiful camp grounds throughout, in amongst the trees and each with their own fire pit and access to good amenities. Close access to a number of good walking and riding trails too.
The road is fairly close so there can be a bit if road noise at times but nothing too intrusive.

Great spot & now even better it has opened today, with a larger toilet block next to the other one. I was lucky to be #1 for the 1st # 2.

It's a nice camping spot with pine forests close by and a good walking track. It was really nice waking up in the morning to the sounds of kookaburras.
The toilet facilities were excellent! They had flushing toilets and put extra portaloos on for the long weekend.
The ranger came around to check how things were and was very accommodating.
Its about $5 per person per night camping.
You can have a camp fire there, however only at particular times of the year and in designated camp fire spots.

We went on the walking trail around the grounds. It was great. Very easy walk, and plenty of awesome little play areas for the kids (teepees, logs to climb, open areas to run). Would go back again.

We had great picnic there. We were the biggest number and always worried about noise but all neighbours were so cool. A ranger pick up van passed by and rangers waved at us. Thanks to the guy at Forestry SA call centre who gave us information about this great picnic spot.As we were used to with pit toilet it reignited our memory of living in Nepal.

This camping ground is very enjoyable especially if you like bonfires. I brought firewoods, but I saw people cutting branches with a hand saw.
This camping site is wide enough to park few cars.

Haven't camped there but have gone for a day visit at Kuitpo Forest. Beautiful place for a walk and an adventure. Easy trails for kids and families too. Stunning flora and fungi. I never realised there was a place like this on SA. A must visit for anyone who enjoys getting out into nature.

We camped here for a night and it was great. Dont forget to pay the fee at the ranger station 2 km from the venue entrance. I think the best spot to camp is on the left 10 metres after the toilet (by the fire pit).

Also, do a little bushwalking in the morning!
