i live very close, so i tried different drinks, baked goods, and pizza from here on numerous occasions. coffee here truly never disappoints, especially their cappuccino, and the bakery variety is amazing and delicious, but this pistachio croissant was the thing that finally made me write a review. i got it early in the morning so it was fresh and it was so good that i can say with confidence it was the best thing i had in a very long time. the pistachio cream was perfectly rich, not too sweet, very silky and complex, while the pastry was simultaneously crisp and flaky on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside. some other croissants here can be too buttery to my taste, but this one was balanced perfectly. i am very impressed, something that happens rarely, so i definitely recommend visiting for fresh pastries and coffee. exceptional quality today

Stumbled upon this place by accident & very grateful that I did. It’s like stepping in to a food wonderland that’s sure to keep most happy. Special mention to the desserts on offer! Just simply amazing!! Love the fact that everything is made in house. Jive Kombucha adds to the great selection on offer. I highly recommend this place. It will not disappoint.

A stunning culinary experience with amazing options, each area boasts amazing food and drink. The gardens as a whole however, is unparalleled in atmosphere and aesthetic for the whole of Broadway.

Great atmosphere, excellent food and service.

However their brand of coffee is a bit too strong for my personal liking, this is still the case after I ordered weak latte.

Located inside the Broadway Shopping Centre doesn't mean The Gardens is lacklustre in any form. Coffee is done well, and the food options are many and varied with something for everyone (including the kids) including sides options for you to add or remove from your selection. Service is swift and a maitre'd seats you neatly before your host attentively takes orders.

Food came quickly, was well presented, and very good. Don't expect anything amazing - the menu is what it is, but it will not disappoint.

The experience has changed from 2 years ago.
The fresh baked pastry is great quality, quiche and cakes.
Coffee and cake prices are a little pricy though.
I would like an extra large takeaway coffee cup added to the menu, that would be nice.

The food was alright. Some of the cups and plates had a weird smell to them. The eggs were slightly runny and had a funky smell to it. The Pastry was amazing though. But the biggest issue was a 13.5% surcharge. Not only on card, but on cash as well. Surcharges shouldn’t be that high, maximum of 10% not 13.5% Overall not too bad, but not amazing

HIDDEN INSIDE- MERCHANTS, BROADWAY. So firstly, hard to find! Maybe improve on advertising online & on site!
Very quick service & they seem to have quick turnover of customers. Maybe because of that, younger female staff seem very stressed and couldn't be bothered to answer questions and don't hide their displeasing responses very well from customers. The space is aesthetically pleasing but would not go back for the customer service.
