Kaniva Midway Motel

The manger Christine was friendly & welcoming. The room & bed were comfortable. The cooked breakfasts were delicious. The motel is in the centre of town so easy walking to shops, the pub & the silo art. We would stay here again.

A cute place. Service is great! The manager Cristina takes perfect care of my family member who come from Adelaide to Melbourne. I will come back next time.

Stayed for a night while visiting kaniva, the rooms are nice and tidy, older but definitely well priced nice and clean.
Christina was amazing she made the stay very welcoming! And even made breakfast the next morning for a very decent price the breakfast was awesome! Would go again just to visit her 10/10 recommend.

Stayed there last week returning to Melb. Host could not have done enough for us. Had to small dogs, so stayed in front room with small garden. Perfect! Didn't order breakfast, but will next time. Room was simple, yet very clean. Definitely be back there.

Perfect spot to stay travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne! Christina looked after us beautifully. Breakfast was so good I would stop there just for that!! Clean, had everything we needed and we got a top on where to eat (amazing food)! Thank you so much!!

I had stayed just for a night but the place and service of this motel is very good. The owner is very kind and sweet spoken person and always there for any help. The hospitality and service of staff is on top. And last but not the least the food is here too good I'm vegan but than to they had options and served delicious food I've ever had in any motel.

Christina is a lovely host. Budget friendly. Everything u need is there. Clean. A great place we stay on our trips to and from Adelaide.

Honestly the highest review for an amazing hostess Cristina, who went out of her way to welcome us and ensure we were looked after. Breakfast was incredible! Thank you amazing lady, we loved our night's stay and when passing through will definitely stay again. Excellent service!

This was the perfect one night stop while travelling from Melbourne to Adelaide. room was a reasonable size and very clean. Right from the get go Christina was very friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed and wanted, we decided to have dinner in the restaurant there, Christiana said she's not a cook or a chef but she cooks with love! The fried rice and honey lemon chicken came out quickly and was absolutely delicious, she then came and checked on us making sure we where happy with what he had been given, I had already finished my bowl of fried rice so Christina brought out a whole extra serve, just happy we were loving our meal, along with dessert which was a Portuguese tarts and some lovely fresh grapes. And this was all at an amazing price of only $12. This was the perfect icing on the cake to the end of our holiday. Would 100 percent recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed overnight on our travels back home to Victor Harbor from Melbourne. The receptionist/owner was extremely accommodating and very, very kind. She served a wonderful breakfast for myself and 5yo daughter, we loved it. The rooms had everything we needed, with a nice hot shower & good water pressure. The room was pet friendly which was wonderful for our dog. You would be silly not to stay here! We will definitely be back. Thankyou for your hospitality.

Very clean and comfortable rooms and the warm hospitality from generous and humble Christina was above and beyond expectations. Were completely blown away by the scrumptious breakfast she served with affection and utmost perfection. Highly recommend it.

I stayed a couple of nights with my dog. Room was dated but more importantly fixtures, linen, basin, toilet and shower (nice and hot) all clean. Room did not smell 'doggy' at all. Comfortable bed and pillows. Towels good quality. Neighbour had air con running a lot but could barely hear it in my room. Christina was lovely and as everyone else has said, make sure you order the cooked breakfast! She is very generous with portions. Nice sunny breakfast room too. Thank you to the owners for being a pet-friendly motel!! Appreciate it!

Best motel I have ever stayed at! I’m not even joking the receptionist was so kind and lovely and accommodated to our needs, the food she cooked us was perfect it was the best food I have had in a while. I definitely recommend this motel to anyone who is looking for a great yet cheap experience! God bless

I recently stayed at Kaniva Midway Motel and had an excellent experience thanks to the wonderful service provided by Kris. From the moment I arrived, Kris went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. She was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any questions or concerns I had.
The room itself was clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the attention to detail, including the comfortable bed and pillows, fresh linens, and ample towels in the bathroom.
But what really stood out was Kris's dedication to making my stay as enjoyable as possible. Her friendly demeanour and professional service truly made my stay at Kaniva Midway Motel a memorable one.

5* Breakfast. Highly recommend the motel breakfast. You have to try the Eggs Benedict or the Big Brekkie (HUGE!) and excellent value. Lots of options!

The manager was so lovely. She went over and above to ensure a pleasant stay. So welcoming and friendly. Warm and funny at check in and the next morning at breakfast.

Rooms were good value. Location was very convient. Beds were comfy and we slept really well. The breakfast really made the experience outstanding!

Stayed here while travelling Mel-->Adelaide over Christmas. Perfect for a quick overnight stay, very friendly owner, grateful for flexible check in time as we were delayed on the way. Loved that we could bring our dog. Will definitely be back.
