Very nice and well maintained park. We booked last minute 1.5 week ago, but very promptly and pleasantly provided with a drive through site that we preferred for just the 2 nights we intended to stay. We stayed in this caravan park many, many moons ago and were pleased that it is still a great place to stay. Amenities were clean and tidy, sites were a nice size for such a busy part of the coast. The direct beach access is great and offers beautiful sunrises and opportunity for long walks. Nice park for families too, but the park was really nice and peaceful at night time nevertheless. Nice room for kids and adults to find entertainment or watch TV. We explored the area on our bikes a bit, no hills to navigate so an easy ride.
Eimeo Pub is a very short drive away and can be recommended for its amazing view whilst enjoying a coffee or a meal, the venue itself could do with bit of TLC.
The park's amenities were very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

Camped in rooftop tent here for 2 nights. Very well maintained and clean. Modern showers and toilets. Pool was a bonus. Great sunrise and walks on pristine beach. Would recommend staying here. 👍

Excellent park. We scored a beachfront site for the night and it was actually beachfront! Amenities were clean and tidy, caravan sites were a nice size plenty of room for van and car we didn’t feel squeezed in. Beach is fantastic great sunsets and you just have to get up for the sunrise it was amazing. Nice beach walk and plenty of room for kids to play if you need. Not really near any shops but there was a tavern not too far away. Mackay is fairly spread out so shops and food is only a few minutes drive. This park was great I wish we could of stayed longer. Highly recommend.

In all our travels we were blown away with this little piece of the world🤩 what a gem 👍 we had booked in for a couple of days and just kept extending our stay😜 to start with the managers and staff are amazing, super friendly and welcoming 🥰 the amenities were spotless and park and beach front will blow you away 👍 I always read other people’s reviews and everyone is entitled to their opinion and looking at nearly every review you will see this place is one of the best however there was one that said something about flying foxes which I would like to inform you all there was none there over our stay 😉 so basically loved the place that much I’m bringing my family back for Christmas 🤶 Thankyou for your hospitality 🥰❤

Next to a long nice beach. Bath rooms are very clean. There are many large trees in the park, producing a very relax and enjoyable environment.

Loved this park. Amenities were very clean and modern. Laundry was fantastic. Great friendly staff and Jac's Coffee and Taco van at the gate all make this a great place to stay. Plenty for kids to do with a beautiful pool, water park, peddle carts etc.

A beautiful park on the beach. We were on a drive through powered site for 6x nights. Nice & level with grass & mats. Yes one side of your site is close to the next but it’s not your living side so shouldn’t deter you. Excellent amenities cleaned & maintained daily, excellent camp kitchen area to relax in & only short drive to shopping centre. Will definitely stay again. W&B

Stayed in powered caravan site (drive through) and can absolutely recommend this park to any travellers or holidayers. Great pool and small watermark, wonderfully clean amenities and outlook to Black's Beach is beautiful. Close to many shopping types and areas and accessible to anywhere around Mackay and its hinterland.

Amazing location. We booked a night by the beach side. There is a mat at each place which keeps your car/tent away from dust/dirt/sand. Very quite and clean. Toilets and bathrooms were the cleanest of all other places we stayed. They are protected by fly nets, so you don’t see any flies and bugs anywhere. It’s also cleaned daily and kept clean. Water and electricity connections are quite easy. There are a few bbq area but only one kitchen at the entrance of the park, so it’s a bit difficult to walk there with all your dirty dishes to walk. There is also one area where the toilets are, so you have to walk there for 200m. The pool area is quite nice as well, good for the kids to have great time. The beach is the best though.

Lovely lawn surrounding caravan sites and park backs right onto the beautifully wide, sandy beach. Great Mexican food van on site- delicious!

Booked a beach front site for a week but had to hurry back home so we could only stay one night. Park management were very welcoming and helpful, the beach front sites are very beautiful, but all sites looked really good. Nice and quiet with modern clean amenities and shopping centre close by. All in all, a five-star experience. Thank you

My partner Rob and I stayed at this caravan park and our experience here would have been a 10 star rating but as 5 stars is the maximum, we could only give 5. We had the Glamping Tent book for 4 nights and arrived at the park a little early to check in. This is where we met the manager Andrew and he quickly explained that this wasn't a problem. He allowed us in through the gate to park our vehicle and apologised for not having the Glamping Tent quite ready. He said to have a coffee at the coffee van and he'd notify us when we could check in. Within 5 minutes he came out and told us we could check in. We both picked up on his friendly and easy going nature. The Glamping Tent was clean and comfortable and the beach frontage was stunning. As we were enjoying our stay at this park so much we decided to set up our own tent on a site for a further 4 nights. Andrew drove us around on his buggy showing us the sites available and recommending the best one for us. As Andrew and Fiona, the park managers, made us feel so at home along with the cleanliness of the amenities we decided to extend our stay another 4 nights. Due to Rob badly tearing his calf muscle we were considering moving in to a cabin. The manager, Andrew, called past to say g'day and after we explained what had happened he put a cabin on hold until we made our decision. 10 minutes later he arrived back with a set of crutches. Also assisted us in finding a physio. Andrew also offered to pick Rob up in the buggy and take him to the amenities when needed. We then decided to move into a cabin and they immediately had that ready for us. They also supplied a "State of Origin" night for all guest's to watch the game on the tv in the well equipped camp kitchen plus decorations and free sausage sizzle. Andrew and Fiona went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (all guests). After the tearing of the calf muscle injury the support and assistance from both Andrew and Fiona was outstanding. Do yourself a favor and stay at his caravan park. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Other guests we spoke to also didn't want to leave. We will be back!!!

A fantastic caravan/holiday park on the coast of Mackay, the sugar city of Australia. Amenities were clean and well maintained, sites were well arranged and managed and staff were superb. If you’re in town, lend them some sugar, they are your neighbour.

An absolute gem smack bang on the beach. It isn’t a huge caravan park but that is what really helps ensure this place is a gem. Great sized sites, easy power and water connection, friendly staff and did I mention absolute beach front!! The rolling waves at night are so soothing. The pool is a good size and shaded with a smaller splash pad for littlies next to it. The camp kitchen is big and well set up and has everything you need. I have no negatives with this place and will 100% be back! Do yourself a favour and book now, you will not be disappointed.
