Every dish we tried was incredibly delicious, with a lighter seasoning compared to other Chinese restaurants I've visited. This might be because the cuisine hails from the southern regions of China, a style I'm not often exposed to, but the flavors were truly stunning. Despite the subtler use of spices, each bite was packed with taste, proving that sometimes less really is more when it comes to seasoning. I can't recommend this place enough. Not only is the food fantastic, but the owner is also exceptionally accommodating. We arrived a bit late, yet they graciously extended their hours just to ensure we could enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. It's gestures like these that turn a good dining experience into an unforgettable one. I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

My partner and I were in Sydney for a few nights, staying almost next door to Mr Wu's at the Vibe Hotel, and we decided to try their restaurant on our final night.

They were lovely to find us a table despite us not booking in advance, and we had a table for two in the quiet courtyard. We loved the decor in this area, and there were only a couple of other tables in use during our meal.

The food was incredible! Service excellent and all the staff we had contact with were courteous, helpful and friendly - I highly recommend this place!

Ava made our third visit in two days (yes, we ate here three times in two days!) so wonderful!
The food is excellent, the location is central and easy to get to, and we will book here again when we return. You should make a reservation to make sure you get a table. We love the back room!

We ordered from the special menu for dinner. Booking and order needs to be placed one day in advance. It’s an authentic Cantonese style dining with end to end Cantonese style restaurant service too. Recommend the steamed crab with sticky rice and “dong gua” soup. Great for bigger group dining to impress the guest!

Just had the most amazing food experience at Mr Wu’s. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Visiting from interstate but would definitely recommend-visit when next in town!

This restaurant served some of the most delicious Chinese dishes I’ve had in Australia. For dinner, they provide bespoke menu if you pre-book for a group sitting. The inside section is where all bespoke menu dining happens. Highlight of the bespoke menu was the truffle lobster stir fry (which the chef invented and was mouth-wateringly delicious), the silkie chicken soup (which was absolutely divine and left me going back for second and third servings) and finally the chicken stir fry was had the perfect seasoning and the meat was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend for a small or large dining group to try the bespoke menu.

Delicious Chinese food in the Broadway shopping centre. There's a great variety of dishes on the menu. Been here several times, everything was nice, vegetarian dumplings, chicken, pork, beef, pipis. Customer service all good. Special lunch menu $16 during weekdays.

Their dumplings were amazing. I was pleased with the Duck pancakes. I will be returning. Quite generous portion sizes, great location! Outdoor seating was such a vibe!

Awesome dishes even for a Chinese myself. We had a private banquet at Mr Wu the other day with our friends. Deliciously prepared fishes honestly, definitely would go back again.

Everything was delicious but the prawn & scallops dumplings were amazing. Staff were really friendly and attentive and it has a beautiful atmosphere both in the restaurant and the mock alley way. Will definitely come back again next time I’m in town.

One of the most authentic southern China (Zhong Shan) cuisine in Sydney. Must try crispy skin pigeon - many more to explore and love about. I bet it’s better then your usual go to Cantonese place in Chinatown!

I used to go to broadway to eat Mr Wu's as it was close, but now my family and I walk into the city to eat here the food is amazing and the service and prices are great

My favourite spring rolls. I'm not a fan of the standard crispy hard skinned type. Mr Wu does the spring rolls with the soft oily wrapping which i much prefer. The congee is also a nice serving size with an ample portion of meat to rice ratio
