Kalamia Hotel

Went on Melbourne cup day, sat outside.
Good tables and shade sails, nice area to sit in.
Huge screen had race on, sadly no sound was connected, the outside speakers could only play music.
Service was okay, didn't get my members discount as girl processed order and didn't scan my members card despite it being open in my hand. Was unwilling to undo transaction to give discount after payment made.
Food was good pub food.

Great pub. Good selection of beer and excellent food. Outdoor TV and plenty of seating. Very friendly staff. Chicken snitzel, ribs delicious. Garlic prawns the best every.

Tez and I had a few jars here in the wee hours of the morning. Thought the staff would kick us out but they came and joined us for a good yarn themselves. Food was on point too. Can’t fault the joint to be honest. Plenty of Sierra in stock too if that’s your go to

My friend Big Tez and I recently visited The Kalimia Hotel for breakfast after a lively night out that involved a few bottles of Sierra Tequila. Despite our rather unconventional timing, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who went out of their way to accommodate our request for a well-done steak in the early hours of the morning.

The ambiance of The Kalimia Hotel was inviting and comfortable, making it the perfect spot to unwind after our eventful night. The steak was cooked to perfection – exactly as we requested – and it was one of the best we’ve had in a long time. The meal was complemented by the excellent service provided by the attentive staff, who remained professional and courteous throughout our visit.

I would like to extend our sincere apologies to the staff for Big Tez’s enthusiastic use of the black pepper – he managed to go through three shakers! Despite this, the team handled the situation with grace and good humor, ensuring that our dining experience remained pleasant.

Thank you, Kalimia Hotel, for your outstanding service and delicious food. We look forward to visiting again soon (hopefully under more conventional circumstances).

If it's good enough for big Tez, it's good enough for me, bit too much pepper and salt for my liking but not enough to take off a star, keep it up 👏

Tez and I shared a few tall tales over a coupla serves of barramundi. Drinks were flowing so no need for back up, that's for sure.

Four of us visited for dinner at 6:30pm on Tuesday evening. The meals were served very quickly. The meals are large and delicious. Can't go past the Parmy!

If Tezza think it's the best in Australia, I farkin agree!!

Good beer garden. Decent pub food and good prices. Most importantly $12 jugs for the backpacker on a budget 🙌🏼 You also have control of the music being played via CrowdDJ

Lovely hotel and beer garden wich has a very large screen for the sports lovers. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. 👌

The staff here were amazing beyond kind and helpful. We had been in a serious accident and lost our van and car just outside of Ayr .We had our big unfriendly dog with us ,long story short We ended up in Ary waiting for our daughter to come from Cairns to pick us up ,5hors . The staff at the Kalamia helped us soooo much .They allowed us to bring the dog to wait at the hotel ,they looked after us way beyond what they needed to do .The biggest THANK YOU to Merryl and her team ......even fed the dog .....

Great Experience, cold beer, clean, beautiful food, best steak sandwich & Chicken Parmigiana was huge, juicy cooked to perfection.

Great! It looks great after the renovations. The new menu cards are great designed, staff was very friendly. Food was great. Coming back for the wings, yum. Parmi was huge. Mushroom sauce very tasty.
And very friendly, I guess, manger. Thanks, had a great night.

The hotel inside and outside is very good. Big space outside with chairs and inside as well. They provide food and sweets for free and I like going there.
The staff who work there are very kind and helpful. They come up with a smiling faces all the time. I like the environment. A good place to relax ♥🙏

Really (really) good food, from the basic pub fare right through to a very well put together pearl cous cous salad. Their wings were top notch too, service was great and aside from the Keno screens everywhere the ambiance was spot on.

Always a good place. Staff are always friendly and the beer is always good. Elliott in the games room is awesome. Always happy and chatty. Food is very good there aswell.

Friendly pub, good steaks, pity about the very limited range of beers. Had a decent beer on tap but sent it back and replaced it with more rubbish. Nice bar staff.
