Travellers Inn Kaniva, Motel

Travelling between Adelaide and Melbourne regularly as a family, we always rest around the halfway point to break it up. We've been staying at the same motel for a while but this time thought we'll change it up & stay somewhere new. After looking up all the options and reading all the reviews, we decided to stay at The Travellers Inn Kaniva. After our overnight stay we were so glad we did. Room very spacious, very clean, has everything you need, the TV was massive and in the centre of the room, bench space was big and even had complimentary water in the fridge. You might think this is all trivial stuff, but it's all these little things the last motel didn't have. I've no doubt we've found our new overnight spot. By the way for food, must try Little Guys Pizza & Cafe Kaniva... it's the Best!!

Excellent, we travel the Melbourne to Adelaide road a few times a year and this stop over is by far the most comfortable. Beautiful rooms now and the grounds are great.

After a long drive being met with a warm friendly face is instantly relaxing. Rooms are spacious and beautifully clean with a comfortable bed and nice hot, strong shower. A perfect place to rest and don't dont leave town without checking out the Sheep Art trail.

Overnight stay on the way back to Melbourne from Adelaide. Room was very clean. Location right on the main highway easy to find and easy to get back on the road the next day. Very accomodating to having a small dog with us also.

Lovely country hotel with all mod cons. Clean comfortable room with large TV. Very comfortable bed which ensured I got a good night's sleep. Manager could not have been more helpful, especially as I arrived after check-in closed. They also contacted me to arrange the return of something I'd left behind. This is a great location half way between Adelaide and Melbourne. Will definitely stay here again.

Frank the Manager was so friendly and so helpful. I left behind a box of presents in the cupboard. He arranged for them to be posted back asap. He also made sure we had lots of bottled water in the fridge since water wasn’t treated in that town.
My family stayed in a twin room since the family rooms were booked out. He arranged for a trundle bed for my son so we could all be in the same room.
The room was a bit tight for 2 adults and 2 kids but very clean, and totally fine for an overnight stay.

Such a lovely little gem conveniently located alongside the road!
We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by Frank who informed us about the area and it's local amenities.
Rooms were exceptional clean, quite big and cosy. If we're ever back in Kaniva we'll sure to be back 😊

Excellent place to stop over on way to Adelaide. The young family that run the motel went out of their way to provide all our needs. Rooms were spotless and the TVreception excellent especially the Fox Sports channel. Beds very comfortable and plenty of room to relax. Will certainly stay there again.

A great place to stay about halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne. Very tidy, comfortable room. Great service. Good value for money. Highly recommended

Friendly & helpful host & town.
Bit noisy with trucks passing during the night, but otherwise a very pleasant and clean stay.
We enjoyed the local walk from the silos to the wetlands.
Would highly recommend.

Stayed overnght, returning home to Melbourne from Kangaroo Island last week of March. We got there late but the manager and her young family checked us in personally. The Room was great, clean warm with a very comfortable bed and huge TV. We left early next morning, but I left my mobile phone there. Mangement was outstanding, contacted us before we arrived home to confirm they found it and 2 days later it arrived in our home letter box.10 out of 10 I reckon and we now have a comfortable reliable motel to stay in, half way on our trips to Adelaide

Stayed here on our trip to Melbourne, very accommodating staff, clean rooms including the bathroom which is a big must for me! Aircon works great, bed is also comfy and a great big tv with free wifi and foxtel great for passing time! Would stay here again for sure!

Immaculately clean and exactly as advertised. The room is newly renovated, bathroom generous in size, beds very comfortable. Quiet split system air con quickly made the room cosy. It was just right for my teen daughter and I exploring the West of Victoria. The hosts we so welcoming and kind. Lovely people, they were very helpful with anything we needed. .

Stayed overnight as driving back home to Melbourne.

Highly recommend the Travellers Inn. Clean comfy rooms with big bathroom. We stayed one night with our baby and would stay again. Even returned our baby's toy that we left there!! Great customer service 👍

Loved our one night stay here on the way to Adelaide. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. Big screen tv, and foxtel too! The family that run the motel are delightful and just so friendly !! Their service was so welcoming, obliging and helpful. Would recommend staying here!!!

Outstanding value and the warmest hospitality. Brand new refurbished rooms, new tiles and carpet. Immaculately clean. Brand new appliances incl reverse cycle and giant Smart TV. Modern bathroom w/ great water pressure! Exceeded every expectation. Felt like a very safe and friendly place to stay travelling through as a single lady. Could not give higher praise of Bobby and his family’s motel. Will definitely be returning!

What can I say, what a lovely little motel to stay at on our trip back from Adelaide, the room was immaculately clean, the beds were very comfy and the owner Bobby was so accomadating even under stress of having his wife in hospital, I would highly recommend this motel as a place to stay not only clean but lovely hosts. Thank you for your hospitality Bobby.

Enjoyed my 2 night stay with my partner and 2 kids. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean and nicely updated. Extras like split system, electric blankets and foxtel made the evenings very comfortable. Next time we come by kaniva to visit family there we will stay again
