I have been in a lot of places up and down the east coast but I would have to say that was the best Barra crumbed I have ever had VERY VERY NICE GUYS

I've been in the area for a while now and wanting to check this place out.. I'm so glad I did and definitely will be back.. It was great to find a shop that cooks Barra too not just the Mackrel like other take ways around here.. I had Crumbed Barra and 2 Crumbed Bug with chips.. Never had Crumbed Bug before but it was nice.. All cooked well and not greasey which I loved.. Thank you 😊

Best place in town! Ayr is dead but I tell you where everyone is...at 5 ways fish Bar and Italian cuisine. The staff are lovely make you feel like family and then they somehow manage to make fish and chips that aren't greasy. Delicious! If you're going through Ayr definitely stop here.

As a tourist coming from Townsville, I hope this review means a lot. The fish was fresher than I've ever had, chips were perfect. I know where to stop in when in Ayr next

Parking at the front door. Friendly service and quick.. and it's ok to wait.. So much variety.. You won't be disappointed..
For the Italiana- BYO saucepan or container..
Unbelievable and so so YUMMY.. but remember the store is closed on Tuesdays.. that will disappoint you - open Wednesdays to Monday..

I waited for my order during a busy evening and Maria and George were very mindful of how many people were waiting for their order and you could see and watch the professionalism in systematically delivering each one in order of taking and thanking by name in most cases. Being from Sydney i always stop in on the way through at least twice a year. A worthwhile visit.
