Sydney Babies - Dr Hugh Porter - Obstetrician

Choosing a team to support you through your pregnancy is a difficult decision to make. Public vs private, which OB to choose, how to give birth. The list goes on.

I found the perfect team with Dr Hugh Porter at Sydney Babies. At all times I felt listened to, safe and supported. I could ask any question and had access to Hugh if I needed to reach him which I was so grateful for. He was patient and facilitated my needs whilst keeping a close eye on everything to ensure bub came out healthy.

I must also say a huge thank you to the staff in the background and his midwife. You were all so beautiful, accommodating and made coming into appointments fun.

If there is to be another baby I know I will be coming back.

Dr Hugh was amazing throughout my pregnancy and helped us have a truly positive birth experience. He is calm, knowledgeable and practical doctor who helped us navigate our pregnancy journey with ease and sense of humour. We highly recommend him to every couple looking to have a positive and well informed birth experience!!

On the day of my son’s birth, I was very fortunate that Dr Hugh was the obstetrician on call. In what could have been a really worrying time for us, it was Dr Hugh’s calm, informative and friendly manner that instantly made me (and my husband) feel at ease. He continued to provide incredible care immediately after the birth, the days that followed and the weeks leading up to, and including my 6 week check up. It’s very clear that Dr Hugh is passionate about providing the very best care for his patients, through his positive, professional and relaxed approach.

My only regret is that I didn’t find Dr Hugh 9 months earlier. I would have loved to have had his care throughout my entire pregnancy. If you’re in search for an obstetrician to guide you through one of the most exciting (sometimes worrying) times in your life, stop looking. Dr Hugh Porter is your guy! I highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Porter and his team are incredible. I felt so supported throughout my pregnancy, for the birth of my baby girl, and during my recovery.

Hugh is a fantastic obstetrician, he is a great communicator and really listens to his patients and their needs. I would recommend him to anyone having a baby!

Where do we even start with Dr Hugh Porter. Our entire experience with him has been incredible. From pre conception through to pregnancy, birth and beyond, he has been incredibly helpful and supportive. His entire team were amazing also. Mathilde gave me so much confidence within my birth and the entire reception team were so wonderful that I looked forward to our chats each appointment!
