Akehurst Bakery

Nice little small shop with a great range of products. The prices are ver reasonable and the pastries were excellent. Highly recommend this small country town business.

Akehurst Bakery was suggested to me to visit instead of the other place just down the road where I would always go when passing through as they have superior pies, I went through Blayne just a little while ago and we stopped in here as suggested. I’m so glad we did, curry pie was so good I also bought a tomato and onion pie YUMMO!! Hubs had a beef and veggie and a Mexican pie he loved both. For a treat I bought an apple turnover and an eclair, rather excited to try them. The lady who served was so nice and such a beautiful old fashioned shop, the service I got was so good. This bakery will be the one we stop at from now on without a doubt.

Had a chicken salad sandwich with everything and it was so absolutely delicious I couldn't write a review to recommend then bakery to everyone. Great service too!

Much better than Ryan’s bakery where the staff are as tasteless as the food! Akehurst has been open for years and has the best sausage roles in town

Delicious pies and whole grain bread. As I love vanilla slices I bought two. My cat and I love this store. The sourdough bread is fantastic.

We buy chunky pies and find them second to none. They are amazing everytime we go to blayney we always stop lovely people.

Have now made it my one stop shop on my way through Blayney. Just decided to stop there and get a mushroom pie and cappuccino for lunch. Friendly and my mushroom pie was just that and no aspic jelly for thickness. Will be trying their other pies down the track.

We stopped there and got their walnut and fig bread. Amazing! They also take card payments now.
