Discovery Parks - Ayr

A hidden Gem in Ayr. A really nice park, all slabs and plenty of shade. The Amenities were top notch ( oldish ) but immaculate. The showers are huge and were built in a time that catered for the guest not built to cost. So you can turn around and not hit the taps or walls. We were travelling so only stayed over night but I would be happy to stay there for longer. The staff were very friendly and as they lived there and had travelled so were able to provide advise to us for our trip.

We had powered site, this park would have to be the best one we've stayed in and especially for the coast. @40 a night in comparison, pay it. Great amenities, put in a great spot. Loved it.

Nice and private cabins you can have your pets to which is amazing lovely grass area and so very clean, greeted with a great smile
Upon arrival will definitely stay there again.

A lovely warm welcome at reception was all part of a lovely 1 day/night stay at this quaint, excellently maintained caravan park. The cleanest camp kitchen I’ve ever seen which also included an oven. Old but nice clean amenities and lovely clean laundry as well. Would definitely recommend this little gem.

Super helpful staff assisted with our very late check in (pre-arranged) and let detailed instructions and visitor information. Amenities were clean and easily accessible in the park.

Stayed for a night at a powered site. Careful camping or parking directly under the trees as there are bats/birds feasting at night and your things may get fruit and droppings on them.

Amenities were clean and spacious. Owners were able to accommodate us outside office hours. Overall very happy with our stay.

Great Park , from the get go Reception extremely friendly, positive, nothing a problem.
Amenities super clean, from bathrooms to camp kitchen, bbqs sparkling .

I spent 4 months here, living and working. It was one of the best stages of my life. I REALLY recommend it. Clean rooms, CLEAN toilets, clean common areas. POOL really good. Price reasonable, good personal treatment, specially Carol.
The only disagreement point, for me, was the price of the vans every day to go and come back from de farms.

100% recommended.

Great little park.Situated away from the highway noise it is very well run with good facilities.
A bonus is having a connection for local TV via supplied cable.
Even has a DVD library for no charge.
Sites are a comfortable size and the manager is personable and happy to help with any enquiry.
Will definitely return. 10/10

Staff was very accommodating when we accidentally booked the wrong date and arrived after hours. The unit was clean and tidy. We had a great stay. Would highly recommend! Thanks again to staff for being so understanding and accommodating. Really appreciate it!

My daughter, myself and our cat got into town late and were very lucky to get nice clean accommodation here. The manager was very lovely and offered and provided first aid supplies as I had sustained injuries at previous accommodation in Mt Isa. We had the best sleep since starting our road trip, sleeping in a clean bed, in a clean cabin. Highly recommend this accommodation.

I had a really good time in the BIG4 Ayr Silver Link. I did there my farmwork and had a great time there with the people. The hostel facilities are really good and clean. The place is nice and has some barbecue spots and a swimmingpool. The farmjobs are quiet good, all the jobs are hourly pay. It's a very good place to the farmwork. Both Cathy, Carol and Teagan are nice and helpful.

A great park. Cabin was large and well appointed. Price was very reasonable. Also dog friendly.
Would recommend anyone travelling through Ayr to stop over at Discovery Park.

Lovely quiet park with super-clean amenities and very friendly staff. Drive through sites with thick grassy surrounds. Sites are fairly close, but navigable. Short walk to town which has all you need.

Stayed 2 nights in a powered site, Beautiful clean park , a credit to the cleaning staff and gardener . Reception lady is friendly and welcoming. Rate 10 out of 10.

Nice, quiet, well cared for Park with a lovely pool and friendly management. Park also has accommodation for seasonal workers, who have their own facilities and were early to bed and respectful of the needs of ttavellers. Would certainly visit again.
