Huge range of authentic HK desserts - these were $8.80 each and portions are pretty big - can share 2 between 3 people. This is the N3 (black sticky rice, mango, coconut milk) and G7 (taro coconut milk sago). They are not too sweet - just right for Asian tastebuds - especially the taro. The taro is also cooked nice and tender.

Amazing desserts 🍨🥧🍦🍡🍧.
Highly recommend to stop by. This is traditional Hong Kong 🇭🇰 dessert place. No need to book. It can be busy, but they serve fast and you will find a place to sit. The parking is in the street.

Very authentic HK dessert. The restaurant is not big but very good vibe. Always busy, feel like u r in HK. But the staffs r more friendly. Highly recommended

An excellent place for HK desserts, normally open till 10pm, huge variety to choose from, helpful staff, and very clean. Sometimes the line can get a bit long and a bit limited tables inside.

Very good Hong Kong style dessert place with a multitude of choices and combinations.

Tips for your visit:
1. Go earlier. On peak days, there's a crowd waiting after dinner time and they only open during evenings.
2. It's no longer cash only but there is a card surcharge.

We tried the walnut soup with tofu pudding and sea coconut sago with grass jelly. Both were very nicely done and not too sweet.

The servings are also quite generous and with so many choices, it's worth going back to try them all.

Cute little Hong Kong dessert place in Eastwood. It's rare to find one that offers such variety of sweet soups!

I was very happy with my mango, pomelo and grass jelly but the tofu wasn't very good. Perhaps they are not known for this as it was a weird clunky texture.

A lot of people say the price is a bit high but considering that it tastes good, I think it is reasonable and definitely worth it.

The service is also friendly even though they don't speak much English, it is easy to order by telling them the codes.

A small restaurant serving very local Hong Kong soup desserts. They have a good variety of sweet soups and the quality is not bad. For some reason they only serve in disposable containers. Tonight we had the Ginger juice milk curd (薑汁撞奶) and the Grass Jelly with Sea Coconut Sago (海底椰西米涼粉), both desserts were very nice.

My favourite was the sago and durian. The portion is good enough for sharing especially after heavy dinner. The ordering system is fairly easy as well. All you need to do is to pick up a order form and tick what you like to order and pay at counter. The waitress then will bring the food over to you.

The best place for Hong Kong desserts! Very reasonable price. Btw, this shop accepts cash only. It can be pretty hard to get a seat, just be patient and wait for customers to leave as the turnover rate is quite fast. Taste is amazing, not too sweet. Varieties are endless, whether you like it warm or cold. Always find myself returning to this humble shop! I highly recommend F3 and F5. Menu as attached, enjoy!

We came in here to try this restaurant that serves quintessential Hong Kong desserts. We ordered the Ginger milk curd (V3, only available Tuesday to Friday) and Mango with Black Sticky Rice with Ice cream (F3). They are both delicious and the perfect palate cleanser. Portion was very good as well. The desserts looked exactly like they do in the photo menu on the wall. Our desserts were served in a simple white bowl with a really nice stainless steel spoon. There are so many choices of desserts to choose from, and we look forward to try other items next time.

Delicious Hong Kong style desserts made in house. Good value with generous portion sizes.

Very limited seating and cramp it is recommended to order take away.

Service: 4.5/5 stars
- staff seem pretty willing to give recommendations/listen to you even if they're a bit slower at Mandarin than Cantonese, which I really appreciate. Liked the friendliness and manner especially of the mature short-haired lady, who may be the owner
- the speed of service is super fast!
- main criticism: they serve everything in takeaway plastic containers with plastic cutlery, which cheapens the experience and is bad for the environment
- beware that it's cash only.

G5. Watermelon Sago with Coconut Milk (+ grass jelly): 5/5 stars
- it may have been my mood, but I loved it. Sago texture is singular, I've always loved grass jelly (which was a bit different to what I'm used to; a bit more solid), and the watermelon chunks were juicy and pleasantly, mildly sweet. The fruit's an ingredient I've always been curious to try in HK desserts, and this was a great first time. All the toppings were in perfect proportion too, but the highlight was the coconut milk -- creamy, fragrant and ideally sweet! Decadent and embracing; delicious.
K1. Peach resin with snow fungus & coconut milk: 4/5
- same tasty coconut milk. Peach resin and snow fungus both tender, soft yet bouncy, silky smooth and comforting to eat -- nothing was wrong with the dessert, it just lacked the extra dimension others with more variable textures/flavours may have (understandably)
N3. Black glutinous rice with mango: 3.5/5
- too little mango (only a few pieces) and way too much rice, which was mushy and a solid mass of at least 1/3 of the container thick stuck at the bottom (also hence not enough coconut milk, but the given amount should've been fine). Proportion here was definitely the most off that I've experienced, which was disappointing
- mango not that tasty either; a little too soft/not fresh, and more sour than sweet -- the quality nowhere near as good as the watermelon's. Black sticky rice would've been better in whole grains too, and its flavour was also not that great
P11. Green bean soup with grass jelly (+ sago): 4.5/5
- didn't expect the coconut milk when I chose to add sago, but it melded well with the classic and not-too-sweet green bean soup, dulling its grainier/coarser edges, as did the smooth, soft yet firm grass jelly
- sago fit in seamlessly too, as if it was always meant to be a part of the dessert. All the textures just harmonised perfectly, yielding a delicious and light, soupy dessert
P10. Red bean soup with grass jelly (+ sago): 4.5/5
- similar review to the item above, but minus the grainy, throat-irritating texture. Red bean was tasty, substantial, not too sweet, and melded tastily and harmoniously with the coconut milky sago and grass jelly; a perfect amalgam of textures once more

Conclusion: Sydney needs more Hong Kong dessert places, and I was lucky enough to be near one with the most extensive menu (hot and cold)! Only thing is it's pretty expensive (everything's upwards of $7, even for the basic items), and it's cash-only (classic), but it could be worse. I couldn't recommend Hon Kee more to anyone who enjoys Hong Kong desserts, if they switched to reusable bowls and utensils.

Very authentic Cantonese sweet soup dessert❤ I will definitely come back! It’s worth the 30 mins drive from home to have the hot ginger & black sugar Tufu Pudding❤❤❤🤭 highly recommend

Great Hong Kong dessert shop! The options and flavours remind me very much of Hong Kong. Expect to pay around $10 per dessert!

I love the almond nut dessert... so happy to have this gem shop that serve variety of hot and cold desserts include mango sago, milk ginger, durian pudding, snow fungus, sesame, walnut , etc..the only minus point is the ordering system so manual that the wait can be long..I m still happy to wait and buy their dessert everyday
