Mentone General Practice

My doctor unfortunately left the clinic but Dr Jason Ting has been a lifesaver and I feel in safe hands with my new doc. He listened, took the time to answer all of my questions and I can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients.

dr hassabi is such a lovely and informative doctor. He is so thorough and patient in explaining any questions I had. Made me feel calm and at ease for a procedure that I was very anxious to have.

Great GPs and Nurse, very thorough and caring also a friendly and helpful reception team.

The clinic is lovely, modern and clean. It is fully accessible on the ground floor with no steps, however the door is a little bit heavy. Although the new introduction of fees is slightly annoying it is understandable considering the current cost of living. Dr Jason Ting is by far the best Dr I have ever seen, he is diligent, patient and empathetic. Has a good understanding of mental health and always willing to listen without judgement. Additionally, having a pathology clinic on site is convenient for blood tests and other related tests.

Best clinic and doctors that I've experienced. I'd specifically like to thank Dr Ting and Dr Whitaker for their care, attentiveness, understanding and recommendations. They have always taken the time to get to the root cause of issues and to thoroughly explain things to me - I've never felt rushed out of appointments, or treated as just a number. Both are very approachable, friendly, and easy to talk to. Also, the practice team are also very helpful and professional. Thank you everyone :)

Really good experience here. Felt embarrassed going but the doctor was really calm and totally helped me. I have seen a few of the doctors here now and they are all good especially if you are a younger person-totally go here as they will help you, not just rush you.

I’ve been treated by Dr Azhar Rakhmetova for 3 years and she is the best doctor I’ve ever had.
I have some ongoing chronic diseases and she’s very informative, patient and helpful.
She always investigates any issue, listens to my concerns and takes them seriously.
Thanks to her, I can now deal with all my problems without medication.
Even though I've moved from the area, I’m happy to travel the distance for her to remain my GP.
The clinics staff members and nurses are also friendly and they always willing to help out my needs.
I highly recommend.

I have been going to this clinic for many years and the customer service from all staff has always been great. Dr Azhar Rakhmetova is the best doctor I have ever been to. She is attentive, understands my needs and was very proactive when I had an unknown issue that we were investigating. The nurses are also very helpful to take blood pressure, find test results, and other things that save time for the doctor. It is also very convenient that pathology is in the same building. I highly recommend this practice and all the doctors here.

I moved to the area last year and was worried about finding a new ‘good doctor’ but needn’t have. These guys are fabulous. I have seen Dr Bahareh Khodaverdian a few times and she’s always knowledgeable, attentive and thorough. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Have been going there for many years with my family. Always treated us all in the most professional manner. Dr Azhar Rakhmetova is our family doctor & she's extremely thorough. Regular blood tests, x-rays, ultrasounds, referrals anything we need she checks. Absolutely Amazing!

This clinic is great! I’ve seen two of the doctors now and they are both friendly and professional and the same goes for the reception team, always making you feel welcome.

Friends of mine recommended Dr Jason Ting. He is one of the best GP’s I came across. He takes his time to listen and understanding the root cause. Dr Jason is very carrying and you can tell he loves his job. I can’t highly recommend him enough.

Dr Ting is like no other Doctor I have ever come across. He genuinely cares and really listens to you.
He is very thorough and Just so easy to talk to. My Girls were very worried about seeing a new Doctor
but they felt instantly comfortable with Dr Ting. I can’t speak highly enough of this wonderful Doctor. I hope
he never leaves.

I’ve been here a few times and seen 3 doctors: Dr. Ting, Dr. Bahareh, & Dr. Nadereh. They’ve all been super welcoming and accommodating, spending time with me instead of ushering me out quickly. I felt the doctors actually cared about me!
Very friendly admin staff too, Ella was a breath of fresh air to speak to on the phone!

Most helpful doctors, specially Dr Jason Ting, who helped me through my very scary workcover journey.
I feel always supported and cared every time I go there. Without Dr Jason's kind dedication, I wouldn't receive the treatments and support which I desperately needed.

Been going here for years and I can't believe I haven't rated it yet. One of the best practices in the area, I still come here even though we live 40 minutes away. I was very anxious coming in to do my Covid-19 vaccination. Thanks to Dr Ting who explained everything to me and made me feel at ease. Very glad that I got my vaccination here. The receptionists were also extremely polite and helpful. Highly recommend this clinic.

Dr Azhar Rakhmetova has been my family doctor for decades. I followed her from one practice in St Kilda to this one in Mentone. Even though the drive has extended 30 minutes each way, she makes up for it with her expertise, up to date knowledge, honesty and warmth. I will be seeing her until she retires. While attending this clinic, I've also had the privilege to see Dr Savka Sarmadjieva for skin related issues and Dr Jason Ting for male matters. Everyone including the receptionist is welcoming, professional and works from a trauma informed approach. Highly recommend this clinic and the team!
