I’m on the cake side of the tavern. Friendly service. Amazing selection of cakes. Definitely want to come back to try a different cake.

Brilliant place for lunch!
Great food and service, and who doesn’t like a cold Beer or wine, while enjoying an amazing scenery.
Fish n Chips and Seafood Basket went down a treat.
The service was excellent, from the lady who took our order to the young guy at the bar, the older guy was a little dismissive (probably needs a new job) but the other one made up for it in service and hospitality.

Had a lovely dinner here. Nice staff. Amazing food. Lots of serving tables. Lovely view over the whole harbour, beach and bridge. Fair pricing. Good value for money. Left very happy. Definitely will go back.

Attention to those who love all things chilli...THEY HAVE CHILLI MARGARITAS. The wings and calamari are incredible too. The sea food is to absolutely die for. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is beautiful with summer vibes on point 👌

Very good customer service. After recieving a specific order that I didn’t like, staff did not hesitate to refund me and make sure I enjoyed my stop by. Personally not a fan of the skewers.

Enjoyed a great lunch at Seafood Nation mid week with my family, staff were very happy. The venue was quite busy, food was fresh and tasty you could tell they use fresh ingredients.
The seagulls can be a problem if you sit outside.

Walked here from Scarborough with a work friend last week... Wow! I'm so glad we chose this place! We ordered kilpatric oysters, green veggies, the sizzling seafood platter and truffle fries. The food is absolutely divine! Best food I've had in a long time and friendly service. LOVED everything about it, can't wait to come back X

Wow great restaurant. Value for money. So much to choose from the menu. Our Fish and Chips were yummy. Can buy alcohol there. Plenty of tables and chairs to eat at inside or outside.

I tried the new squid salad on the menu and it was fantastic, definitely recommended. The squid was fresh and tender and the salad was incredibly filling. The staff was very helpful in recommending the best option according to my dietary requirements.

I've been here twice, the service has been good and the food has been good.

This place doesn't deserve such low rating.

Food was good. Slice of cake was huge, best to share. Huge range of beers on tap. Nice location. Great staff.

Had the most incredible meal with the family last evening at Seafood Nation in Hillarys.

The service was first class and our great experience started with Amy showing us to our table which we had reserved and then taking our food and drinks order. What a delight she was and a fantastic ambassador for the restaurant!

We asked for some recommendations as the whole menu sounded delicious, and within a very short time of ordering, our meals were ready for collection.

We could not have enjoyed our dishes anymore as they were so well presented and indeed beyond delicious!! Even my young nephew who usually takes a few mouthfuls then declares himself full, ate his entire fish & chips without any fuss.

It is now the next afternoon as I write this and we are still so full and can't think of eating anything else at the moment.

The waitstaff were also very attentive which is so refreshing to see, especially when it's a busy Saturday evening. Congratulations to all those staff on a job very well done!

My only recommendation is to do yourself a favour, get some family or friends together and head to Seafood Nation for a great meal and atmosphere. You won't regret it!!

Ordered the soft shell crab burger and it was fantastic. Best burger I've had in a while. It was well presented, the coleslaw was flavoursome- the battered chilli slices were a nice touch, the crab was well seasoned and the chips were good too- crispy and crunchy.
The restaurant itself is very well presented. My meal didn't take long (given, I did order during lunch time). The staff and cooks that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I definitely plan to eat here again sometime.

Nice place to eat. Affordable prices and wide variety.
I had the grilled barramundi burger with chips and it was very nice and fresh. The fish was large, the amount of salad was generous and the brioche bun was tasty. The fish and chips were nice too, we ended up finishing the whole thing.
The only improvements would be to maybe provide tartare sauces along with fish meals, other than that the food was great.
I don't understand all the bad reviews. I've been to many restaurants and thought this place exceeded my expectations. Shame because the staff work hard and the food was yummy. Maybe the bad reviews are from other business competitors.
I recommend this place, I think it is a good place to eat after a long day at the beach.

The fresh seafood was fantastic served with no batter and just enough spice. Will recommend to others. Also the spicy chicken wings were yum and lots so share them or take home if you cant finish. We will be back seafood nation!!

Worth the wait when ordering! Tried the white snapper and got an excellent bit of fish that was expertly battered and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend having a meal after a swim with the family. Don't forget to order sauce when ordering, if wanted =)
