Bromley's Bread Cheltenham

Yes very good, highly recommend. Sat and had pesto, bocconcini and tomato toasted sandwich and decaf soy latte while husband had beef and lamb sausage roll. All delicious. Also brought to takeaway a piece of vegetarian frittata, savoury scone, fruit roll and a pretzel shaped olive and feta pull apart. Actually there was so much to choose from I had trouble deciding! Seating inside and a few cute little tables outside. 15.9 literally walking past so couldn't resist popping in and brought jam.donut for me and blueberry danish for husband.

EVERY TIME has been epic, service and food are brilliant.

Lively bakery and café, the bread and pastries really stand out and look absolutely delicious. We sat for a great dirty Chai and cake, will come again!

I ordered a last minute whole chocolate birthday cake.Jenny and team were so easy to deal with and accommodated to needs on top of the cake. Definitely recommend for whole cakes and other scrumptious pastries including the pear and almond tart which was just amazing.

Come for the bread and treats, stay for the coffee and atmosphere. It's a great place to meet up and have a catch up with a friend or work colleague.
Problem is, the treats are too addictive. The cruffins are a gateway and I've been buying them for friends who have got addicted. BE WARNED.

Spent a month in Germany not long ago and have been looking for German bretzels all over Melbourne ever since I got back. Accidentally stumbled across Bromley's in Cheltenham and can say with confidence that it is the most authentic German bretzel I have found in Melbourne. Only flaw is that they only have them on Saturdays.

Their other pastries and coffees are great too, and staff is lovely. Thank you Bromley's Bread!!❤🥨

Wow, what a gem of a bakery! Some of the best breads & pastries I’ve ever eaten.
My favourites so far: four cheese bread, cinnamon cruffins (recommend pulling them apart and dipping them in your coffee!), choc hazelnut muffins (holy wow). I can’t wait to ‘research’ the menu further.
Only item I didn’t love was the savoury muffin. Very, very dry, and underwhelming flavour. Butter couldn’t even save it.
This place still deserves five stars.

Totally obsessed, friendly service everytime. Family owned business.. So many delights to choose from. We shared the pear puff pastry & banana honey puff pastry, every bite is blissful..

What can I say…service with a smile, great coffee (the staff actually know how to make a good coffee), the best sourdough and very tasty food…I’m here at least 4 times a week.
Make sure you try a Danish…brilliant!

Got a couple croissants and a loaf of the rye and walnut bread, both were incredibly fragrant and fresh.
Pricing is in line with quality.

Favourite bakery, especially if you want high end. A little pricey but quality is the best around.

More than a cosy little nook these days in Cheltenham for your favorite baked goods. Excellent sourdough (get the grain - it just goes fast) and the indulgent brownie. Coffee is served, including oat and soy. They've expanded so you can eat in.

It does get busy early Saturday mornings. Get in early or enjoy the wait.

I am trying to think of an experience at Bromley's that has been unfavorable......hmmmm.......still thinking 🤔
Nope, I can only think of favorable experiences. The staff can sometimes be young and lack the polish experience brings. The baked treats make up for this slight floor.
Yummy yummy! Why not give it a try next time you are near by.

Amazing breads and pastries, but they close early in the day

Stoked. Grabbed a Danish and an olive bread and the pastry is amazing!!! Perfect balance of flavour and the sourdough is delish. Wish I had ventured up this laneway sooner!

Just visited this morning and was served by the lovely Kayla. What a smile to match the chocolate croissant. That woman deserves a raise! Cant wait to bring my friends along as well next time.
