Absolutely beautiful location. Cabins are fully stocked with everything you could think of. Perfect little romantic getaway with my partner. We will definitely go back.

Absolutely loved my stay with gorgeous Donkeys. Owners were fantastic with great communication and a wonderful information session with Glenn. Donkeys are divine and love a visit with a carrot. Cabins are so comfortable with everything you need and a beautiful view. BBQ on the deck was awesome with a fireplace set up with all you need to do is light a match. The Dam was heaven for my daughters. They loved swimming and floating in the rubber ring. Absolutely loved every moment there and cannot wait to go back.

I spent a week solo, living deliberately, bird watching, stargazing, reading, sitting by the fire, sitting on the veranda, walking the property, exploring the local area, cooking meals and generally taking it easy and all at my own pace.

Whispering Valley allows you all that and much more.
And for me, the gift of no wifi and phone reception was a godsend.
Why not truly disconnect from the noise and connect back to nature, and why not do it in a gorgeous location from a cosy and comfortable cabin?

Had a perfect stay, if you are looking for a cabin in the woods to unwind and unplug, this is the perfect place. Not only cozy, the cabin itself is clean and comfortable and immediately invites you in to sit by the fire or watch the sunset.

While the owners are available and obviously care, stocking the cabin with everything from robes, a coffee machine, to supplies for the fire, you feel comfortable and like you have the place to yourself.

Additionally, if you need an incentive to hike, there are many directions to the resident donkeys, and if you're lucky to spot them, the cows as well!

Definitely recommend and hope to return!

2 bedrooms cabin in quiet place, with fireplace/chimney. Good escape option after busy works. No reception, just enjoy moment with your family and friends.

Whispering Valley Cottage Retreat is a great location to unwind from a busy life. The location on top of the hill has views on greenery, silence all around, privacy guaranteed. The cottage is very spacious and well organised, bed is very comfortable, fireplace brings a great comfy touch. Documentation on the things to do in the Maleny surroundings is available. Glenn is very welcoming. It has been a great holiday experience.

A very special family weekend getaway that we all loved so much! Cottages had everything we needed ...little welcoming gifts much appreciated.

Loved our cottage, good quality appliances, great kitchenette. breakfast basket had plenty of food and a good range of hot and cold. Lovely and peaceful surroundings, very comfortable bed and pillows. Good value for money. We will be back. Thanks Paul and Jan

Wonderful relaxing 3night stay.
Great accommodation set in bushland. Waking up to the birds after a very satisfying sleep was just what we needed. Fresh air and nature great combination!

Thank you so much Angela & Glenn for allowing us to experience this beautiful place nestled in such a serene part of the world. We found it was such a secluded and relaxing stay for us. My partner and I particularly loved floating in the dam with the tractor tyre tube and just soaking in the rainforest. Our stay was such a blissful experience - thank you for offering this experience to us, and we'll surely be back 👍

Words cannot describe the magic of this beautiful place. The cute cottages, the gorgeous views, the amazing birdlife and comfy beds make it a perfect weekend escape. You won't be disappointed!

I have been meaning to take my mum on a mother daughter get away for years. Whispering Valley was truly magical and I haven't been able to get the experience out of my mind. Completely surrounded by the Hinterland bushland and the incredible orchestra of nature on dusk was nothing I'd ever experienced before. The accommodation was just beautiful, clean and everything you needed. I'll be back

Absolutely beautiful, very cosy cottage, romantic and warming fireplace and amazing froggy concert at night from the water reservoir. Owners are extremely friendly and even provided us breakfast even though we forgot to book that. Kids loved feeding the donkeys and the short hikes on the property. Just check your ankles for leaches afterwards. Our 7y old caught a few and was screaming as if he was chewed alive. Thanks to the owner Glenn our son survived 😄. Glenn and Angela are absolutely fantastic hosts. Communication about your stay, directions, the express check in and check out, and always being there if you need anything or have questions. Everything you need is provided including small touches like candles and fresh local milk in the fridge. The cabins are the perfect space for a couple to relax and unwind, the land surrounding you is abundant in wildlife and a perfect setting to watch the sun go down. It feels like you’re nestled into your own private forest. My husband and I had our honeymoon here almost four years ago, we’ve stayed many times since then and we will be back again!

We stayed at the cottages for 5 nights for our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier with our choice
Maleny itself is stunning and relaxing and the food is great
The cottage was very cozy and comfortable and just the perfect place to relax and unwind
The cottages don’t offer much in the way of technology and for many that will be one of their best features - and we enjoyed it (but bring your own portable speaker for music)
The beds were so firm and comfortable, the spa and showers were great and sitting out on the deck overlooking the dam and listening to the birds sing and the donkeys bray was so relaxing

We’ve got to know this family over the years.
They definitely have a great spot to relax in.
Also if you’re into bush walking you can walk in the National Park up the road. That can fill in a day easily.

Stayed here for 2 nights while it rained heavily the whole time. Was very amazing ambience. The cottage was really nice too. Feeding the donkeys was fun.

20 minute drive gets you pretty much anywhere you mught need to go in the area, like Maleny.

Absolutely amazing! Total privacy and absolute relaxation. Great facilities - big fridge/freezer, lots of kitchen utensils, Weber on the deck, warm beds and cosy throws for the lounge. Fireplace was all set up and ready to go. Glenn and Angela were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!

Me and my partner stayed here for my birthday and it was perfect. The owners really go that extra mile to make your stay more comfortable and it shows. Fire place was amazing and was already built for us so all we had to do was chuck a match in. Kitchen had everything, including a coffee machine. Views were stunning. Felt like we were there all by ourselves. Will decently be back.
