Woombye Bakery

Fresh baked fare made on site. All the bread, pies, cakes, and rolls I remember from the 60s made right there and served up fresh and delicious with a latte or beverage from the cooler. Couldn’t ask for more.

Proper old school bakery cafe with great seating outside to enjoy your purchases. We had a flat white and a lamington. Both delicious and good value. I’ll definitely go back if I get the chance.

Our favourite place! Reasonable prices, delightful staff and management, a place where Seniors, young Mum's, regular walkers and locals can sit down, under cover, enjoy really delicious food, especially the pies! and sandwiches, lamingtons etc. Recently in an effort to contain costs, management tried some process improvement and stopped providing plates, instead small cardboard box boxes. Like a little take away!
We all understood, but there were "rumblings". Yesterday the plates were back! Thank you Management,! Times ARE tough, so gentle reader if you are a local just come over to the Woombye bakery and support them!!!All the staff are a delight!

I had a spinach and feta triangle and coffee. Let me tell you I had best spinach and feta ever had in coast for long time. So fresh ingredients and very tasty. Will definitely go over and over.

I came here by bus to go to the Bendigo Bank last Monday, whom I must say the lady there was lovely also. I had a mince pie, which was absolutely beautiful, the cuppacino was just the way I like it, very hot, and it was delicious coffee. The girl who served me was just lovely, I hope she remembers me as I went back and thanked her. The whole town seemed to have a very friendly atmosphere

A very nice place to have early Breakfast! The Cappuccino's nicely presented and the coffee used very tasty. Warm scone with jam and cream very yummy. My Danish Pastry was scrumptious. The staff efficient and friendly. Woomby itself a quaint little village with beautiful trees lining the street and well restored old houses - you transferred into
the past. Well worth checking it out!

I thought the days of a bakery making a decent sandwich were long over and then I found woombye bakery. Along with a great sandwich they do coffee and all the other delectable goodies that rural bakeries are known for (i recommend the bee sting slice)

Had a tasty quiche and delicious turkey turkish toastie shared with hubby, finished with coffee and fresh delicious vanilla slice. Great bakery
