Great little place with quirky remnants of a mechanics garage. We visited on our way back from Kondalila Nat Park and this was a highly recommended stop for lunch.
Very friendly staff and a pretty decent menu. Decent selection of beers and there's something for everyone. Would recommend everyone to stop by for a drink and a bite!

excellent place to meet up and enjoy the afternoon with family and friends, live music on a Sunday. I personally think it's a must do for all ages. memorable to admire. 10/10

Very cool restaurant with styles. And food quality is solid. Dogs are allowed at outside beer garden. Only downside is no mobile reception or wifi here.

Been to ricks multiple times now and each time has been as enjoyable as the last. First visited for the Thursday evening music then revisited as partner wanted to try the gigantic burger thing. He finished it all 👏🏻! The burger I had was the piggy one, pulled pork and was nice. We both needed a nap after and literally pulled up in a lay-by and slept for an hour on the way home. The design is what makes this place so special and unique, it’s worth a visit if only to see all the random interior and memorabilia. It’s truly an iconic place and adds something special to sleepy palmwoods.

Only negative points are the ‘queue to order’ system, especially when it’s a busy evening. Sometimes you can be stood in the line for upwards of 15 minutes just waiting to place your food order. This is the only way to order food (drinks can be ordered separately at either of the bars). People were waiting so long - Thursday night - that they’d brought their drinks to stand and queue with and were turning it into more of a social area whilst waiting!

Food is always fantastic and you walk away completely satisfied. Service is quick and efficient. Staff are always friendly and happy to help you. Always our go to spot whilst on holidays.

Dropped in, and what a great place. Has an American diner vibe to it, with an Aussie flavour.
Plenty of seating, inside, outside in the beer garden, upstairs taking in the views. Got a couple of kids meals and had a beer. Great friendly service, will definitely come back when we are on QLD.

Perfect Sunday arvo cruise up the coast on sunny winters day for a feed and few cold bevs. Live music, awesome atmosphere, Seriously good burgers and wings! Top place!

Great experience. Excellent, fast service and the food was wonderful. If you want a retro diner experience with great atmosphere including live entertainment (while we were there on a Sunday), this is the place to go.

Wow was my first time here such a great atmosphere in this place and so much memorabilia food was nice service was excellent will definitely come back

Aussie Family Owned and Run…..
Rick’s Garage was bustling but coping well with the weekend crowd. Only a limited basic menu to keep the meals coming out quickly and hot, which it did. All Staff were very friendly. The chicken burger ordered was good quick food for this fantastically themed and furnished of Aussie 60-70’s Diner.
Very stimulating visually and a museum in itself to view.
Well worth a come eat and see but do not touch.
Like the food menu, the cocktails were limited and the beers on tap were some nice local beers possibly to suit most.
Variety of seating from padded to hard, we were manually seated at the door so unsure if you could select a preferred seating arrangement. It’s has wheelchair access, but will be limited to area you can access. Rick’s Garage has many different dining nooks and upper levels all which makes Rick’s Garage ..Diner is so iconic and memorable. I certainly will be back thanks for being an Aussie Owned Diner Rick!

Great Sunday afternoon tea. Pretty busy when we arrived so food was around 35 to 40mins, but really nice, well presented and good quality. Will be going again soon.

What a great venue!
Visited today on the way home from Sunshine Coast & have absolutely nothing bad to say. Service was prompt, warm & welcoming atmosphere was great & the food came out super quickly & met all expectations.

What an interesting and delightful find in the SC hinterland! We had a very tasty classic burger cooked to perfection, and some of the freshest crispest yummy BBQ wings we've ever had 🤤🤤
Big s/o to Lachie who gave us menu and beers advice and made sure our food came hot and fresh.

Great place to spend some time for an American diner experience. Love music over the weekend and lots of Harley-Davidson motorcycles to look at. Terrific pubs and many beers on tap! Cool outdoors beer garden.

For my first ever visit it was amazing and I would definitely go back! As soon as I walked through the door there was a super friendly guy greeting people, he had good banter and pointed me in the right direction. The young waiter and the girl behind the bar were awesome. The atmosphere was awesome. The food was delicious and great portion size's. I would highly recommend going there and I will definitely be back
