Rottnest Fast Ferries

Rottnest Island is absolutely beautiful. If you’re coming to Perth/Fremantle, this needs to be on your itinerary! Not only are the views immaculate, there’s many little fury friends running around, and the eateries are great to have some breakfast or lunch. Bike hire is highly recommended! However be warned, Rottnest Island is quite hilly and you can get exhausted quickly. I recommend getting early to hire an e-bike, or sticking to a smaller trail. Or, just take plenty of breaks along the 63 beaches coast line!
Overall Fast Ferries was amazing. Great staff, gave helpful information, and really good value with the bike hire, admission, and hotel transfers. 10/10 recommend.

Friendly , well organised, great trip to Rottnest. We must have been nightmare customers as we had to change our trip due to changes to our location and my partner not feeling well, but each change was accommodated with a smile. We booked the Bay-seeker tour, hosted by Glenn which gave a good history of the island with some anecdotes and quokkas (healthier than the ones at the settlement) along the way!

If you’re visiting Perth, Rottnest Island should be at the top of your bucket list. Rottnest Fast Ferries provided a smooth easy way to experience the island. I’d recommend renting the bike and snorkelling equipment from them and exploring the island yourself. Easily the highlight of my trip

Rotnest Island has definitely become one of my favorite places. This island is perfect in every detail. Not to mention the Quokkas who are extremely cute and friendly. This is a tour where you will be happy going alone, with your boyfriend or friends, with your family, in any way you will be very happy visiting this place. This island made my day!

Enjoyed a comfortable and pleasant journey to and from Rottnest on a Rottnest Fast Ferry from Hillarys Boat Harbour on Thursday 16th of May. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, topped off with the sight of a whale spotted breaching not far from the ferry. The skipper slowed the boat and stayed for about 5 minutes or so, so that the passengers could experience this event, which was a rare occurrence so early in the year. Memorable.
Crew were courteous and helpful where needed. Thank you Rottnest Fast Ferries for the facilitation of a great day, both onboard and on land. I recommend your service.

Very efficient service from all staff and a lovely clean spacious boat and decent bikes. On our return trip someone took ill on-board in the seat in front of us and I'd just like to say how amazing and professional the 3 young staff members (1 girl and 2 boys) were at dealing with it - well done

Just had an afternoon of Whale watching of Fremantle, horrid weather, seas were rough but IT WAS BRILLIANT ! Crew were so attentive going round checking on everyone if they felt ill because of the weather, we saw several whales and the skipper got us up close and personnel with the whales, recommend this to anybody and well done the crew for persisting despite the horrid conditions, but eventually it got so rough the captain had to take the boat back in for safety's sake. Well done to the crew and thank yu for a great afternoon

Rottnest Fast Ferries is our go to operator when we go on our yearly pilgrimage to Perth's own Ibiza!

The boats are quality, the staff are lovely and the amenities and free parking at Hillarys top it all off!

Staff were truly amazing! Conditions were quite bad on the way over to Rotto and my 18mth old was very sea sick, the staff spotted the signs early and had a sick bag at the ready along with cold wet towels for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they couldn't have done more for us, thank you so much.

Great service, on time and professional. Very accommodating when changing to an earlier return ferry on the day. Really helpful and prompt replies when booking with an RAC discount voucher.

Great service provided by Rottnest Fast Ferries with limited fuss and hassles. I will go back to Rottnest with them soon and would highly recommend them. The driver, Laura, is a wealth of knowledge and made the experience even better.

An absolutely fabulous experience in watching the whales in the blue ocean which, we tried in October 2019. The smiling, helpful staff, wonderful small ferry, and commentary by marine biologist on whales made the 2-hour tour really enjoyable. Some distance off the coast as the ferry run across the swells my son and wife fell into sea sickness, and missed some serious actions from the viewing deck, which is not really spacious though. We came across a good number of playful whales some blowing waters, mostly from a distance of 80/100m. Select a sunny a day and take caution against sea sickness before booking the trip. Highly recommended.

Took the ferry to rotnest and opted for the adventure boat ride... By far one of the best boat rides ever!! The guy who rode d boat, Guy, and the guide, Jane did an awesum job and I'd definitely want to go for this again... If you're in Perth this is a Must-Do thing!! Even my friend who is seasick enjoyed d ride!!

The boats are fast modern and really clean.

Whilst the slow ferry to Rotto used to take 1.5 hours this service gets to Rotto in 30 mins even in bad weather.

Like a lot of things in Australia the people really make the experience with their friendliness and professionalism.

If he weather is bad and sea is rough MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE BACK OF THE BOAT this is much less bumpy and you won’t get anyone vomiting on the back of your neck ;-)
