The staff (especially Jyoti) were fantastic - a last-minute and urgent document signing half an hour before close on a Saturday, but they were respectful, understanding, and really good at explaining the complex world of insurance. Strongly recommend!

About two years ago I met Estelle Whitby and Mary Sparkes at Westpac Belconnen while looking at a home loan plan. After conducting business with them I was compelled to give a 10/10 feedback score for both people for their customer service. Professional, charming and knowledgeable. I purchased a number of Westpac insurance deals in the following two years as a direct result of meeting these people. While both have changed branches since, Westpac Belconnen is a prime favourite of mine. To boot they are also one of the first branches upgraded to the new ATMs with instant cash deposits and coin and change machines. I have banked with Westpac for over 20 years and these two are at the top of my list to do business with.

Worst worst worst bank i have ever dealt with. I don't want to deal with Westpac for any business and would like everyone to do the same. They have worst people in Belconnen ACT specially. Westpac bank app is worst, don't know where is the vision, i don't know why people are even visiting them. In front of me they were harassing a person, took his money, lady was not returning his money behind the counter, he was requesting may be he had any money for living or not but they were really rude. How much money public money these banks gets from government as a tax rebate and they treat people for nothing. They cant give you job as they outsourced every jobs to overseas companies and overseas job seekers, then why do they need local public money support to run their business and behave badly to them. Avoid banking with Westpac specially in the word please as not a transparent bank, worst ethics, worst vision, worst app, and doesn't care about public forget about charities.

Good afternoon

Today I had a 0930hrs appointment with Yasir for a bank guarantee.

Yasir did not know how to assist me and offered no advice on what was best for me as a ‘customer’.
I asked many questions of which he did not know the answers to nor how to find out.

I asked 3 times is it an annual fee of $150 for the guarantee – and 3 times Yasir said yes. I asked this specific question as it contradicts other info I have been told.

As he could not assist me, he then referred me to Gungahlin branch or to make another appointment with his colleague for another time!

The question has to be asked why was my appointment with Yasir if he has no idea how to do this?
The morning was a total waste of my time.

The lady who booked my appointment should know what Yasir is competent to do & what he cannot do.
Also, Yasir would see his up & coming appointments therefore would know if he was competent to complete it or not.
It was a total waste of peoples time & I still do not have my guarantee for my business.

At 1049hrs Yasir called me to make an appointment at Woden branch, of which I had already done.
Another day passes, total incompetence, waste of many peoples time & I still do not have my guarantee for my business.

FURTHER to the above review....i went to Woden today & spoke with Christian. he confirmed that the bs Yasir told me was totally wrong regarding the fees.....Yasir is a waste!

Lower stand quality services, Pathetic staff except one teller, Asian female, to serve the customers while stupid manager & other staff doing afternoon walk while few staff was enjoying chat, ignoring long queues of around 20-25 customers. 40-50 minutes for cash withdrawal. Definitely worst branch in ACT & Monaro

Went in at about 430pm on a Wednesday afternoon, there was only one other person in the bank being served by the only member of staff that was on a teller. I was left standing there just waiting for 25 minutes before being served. When i eventually got served by a man called Ben who was clearly incompetent - he was downright rude. Ben was slow and took longer than it should to do a simple task.
Won't go to this westpac again.

Pathetic service was Bullied into paying $5 Fee to deposit cash into a business account to pay a Bill. Rang the manager who defended the bullying bank teller after a 5 minute argument with the Bank Manager an agreement was negotiated to re pay the money back to me. This was outrageous I will be making an official complaint to the ICCC

Westpac stole $600+ from me. Coin machine crashed before it had finished counting and the money was not deposited in my account.

Only solution I was offered was to wait 2 months until the machine could be counted and they could resolve the issue.

Absolutely terrible experience. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.
