Lovely setting, beautiful views of Bass Strait and easy access to the beach. The facilities are modern and clean. Manicured sites and easy access to power and water. Friendly and helpful staff. Interesting night life as the penguins return from the sea wandering through your site.

Great place to stay with newer amenities / laundry / camp kitchen building plus large grassed site areas. Walk down the short path to the beach. Had a lovely stay ! Sally, on-site, was very welcoming and super helpful.

Highly recommend. After 3 months traveling around Australia, this is one of our favorite spots. We originally booked 2 nights, liked it so much we extended for a 3rd night before continued our travels. We also planned a return stay when back in the area, booked for 2 and kept extending. In total we spent 10 nights.

The sites are larger, grassed and fairly flat. Some have sea views and others are protected by bushes and growth. Power and water is $40/night for 2 adults, you get discounts with longer stays. The amenities are great, newer and very clean. Individual toilet and shower cubicles. $1/7 minutes shower with good water pressure. Laundry is $3/wash and $3/dry plus have nice outdoor drying area. The kitchen is great. 2 fridges, 2 4 burner electric cook tops, 2 sinks and 2 outdoor BBQs. Again, spotless.

There is a nice pathway for walks, easy access to the beach. You can see penguins on the beach and they often come into the park. It's also easy to walk into town centre or local business area.

Angelina and Patrick were great to deal with. Always made us feel welcome and never made us feel like it was an inconvenience for extensions, even on super busy long weekends, and answered any questions we had. They made it hard to leave, thanks again!. We would happily stay again if in the area

We absolutely love camping at apex. Main park or picnic point. Great atmosphere! Great people, beautiful spot. So much to do for all the family. Just a short bike ride to the town. Or the beach on your door step. Angi and Pat do a great job managing the park! Everything is always so clean and tidy. Nothing a problem for them, very helpful. And just beautiful people. Great place! highly recommend.

We stayed at picnic point, love this place well maintained grounds and facilities, plenty of room for all sized caravans, sites are roomy and easily accessed and management are friendly. Best of all it is located on the beach and has a resident penguin colony. Other wildlife also visit including little wallabies, rabbits and an abundance of birds. Stayed for four days on arrival to Tassie recently and will be staying for five days before departure back to the mainland.

A fantastic place to stay. Very clean amenities and good camp kitchen. The managers are great to talk to. You see lots of little penguins of a night, quite a peaceful and tranquil park to stay at for a great price. Cheers Rose Gray

Loved this caravan park. We had an extra large site backing onto shrub beside a beach access track. Two nights in a row we watched the fairy penguins emerge from the water and walk up the access track to their burrows. The penguins are a bit noisy at night but that’s nature at its best. There is a goods train that passes a couple of times a day as the train line hugs the coastline. Bicycle/walking paths both ways. Lovely managers and great camp kitchen and amenities. Nice and safe for the kids to play as a quiet park.

We decided to stay at this secret gem last minute, don't know how we landed a site but my God we were lucky to stay in such a magical spot. 10/10 Park with great amenities and even a fire pot to share. Such a perfect location right next to the beach, best caravan park on the north west coast by a million.

We had an amazing time. To the point we stayed an extra night. The facility is so well looked after, clean and well laid out. Definitely suited to a quieter camping experience. Perfect for younger children, able to sleep without a lot of noise. Everyone was so friendly and chatty, as it was myself and two children, the adult conversation was much appreciated.
We will 100% be back.... Already booked 👍

A fantastic spot right on the beach. We stayed in the Picnic Point end, which we thought was FANTASTIC, and it looked a lot better than the "main" park. The amenities were FANTASTIC, clean, very private and had everything you could need. We will definitely return and highly recommend to everyone. Although part of us wants to keep it a secret.

Large well set up camp ground/ caravan area. Facilities are well maintained and kept very clean. Our welcome to the property was extremely welcoming and genuine.
The park has a very strong no pets policy due to the local penguin colony at the park surrounds.
