Great food, staff friendly, food portions generous.
Dinning area opened at 1730 for dinner and we arrived shortly after that. We ordered at about 1750 and the place was starting get a bit busy (Monday night) our food came out very promptly and was hot. I was very impressed with the food, our table got potato skins, prawns, burger and mixed grill. Everything we had was cooked perfectly and I passed on my compliments to the chef.

Booked lunch for our wedding anniversary on AUSTRALIA DAY, got the table right in the window (beaut sunny day!) Amazed at the prices, compared to other places. Hubby ordered the chicken schnitzel, I went high end and got the seafood plate. Wow... I was very impressed! Crispy-fried fish, scallops, prawns, perfectly tender squid, golden chips, smoked salmon, mussels and a tasty salad for under $40. Will definitely be coming back sooner rather than later!

I had a beautiful roast pork yesterday. The service and food fantastic. Great value for seniors $19.50 including a glass of wine.

Great food fantastic area to eat at clean and fresh vibrant atmosphere to dine in food is quality especially if you want a steak done right sea food is fresh and jucy and the pull a parts are yum do your self a favour and hit Furners if your in Ulverstone for tea or lunch great bar with great choice of beers and special brews on tap try the james squrie ginger beer soooo good week ends and Friday nights probably be a good idea to pre book a table as it's usually very busy week days not as busy but just give them a call just in case seriously good good food family kid wheel chair friendly as well may be leave the dog at home though 😀

Fantastic service and the meals were some of the best hotel food we have had in quire a while. The scotch fillet was melt in the mouth and the roast was so tender. We will be back next time we visit Ulverstone.

Staff in the restaurant are very efficient and helpful. Food portions large , with excellent value . Quality was one of the best I have encountered during our 14-week journey around Tasmania

I have been there many times for meals; the level of service is good, and what you would expect. I have enjoyed the food there every time, and I have not been disappointed. If you want a good meal, try here.

Went here to celebrate our 43rd anniversary, both our meals were excellent, my porterhouse steak was amazing, when we go out for a meal we always go here because we never come away disappointed.

Sadly went back to Furness Hotel with family and high expectations, after ordering it took over an hour to receive our meal, (only after reminding them). My porterhouse steak was like a piece of rubber, sent the chips back as they were cold, the other three meals were not much better, cold chips and over cooked schnitzel. Very very disappointing as we go here often. Therefore my star review goes from a 5 to a 1
