It wasn't my first time 😋.
I was surprised with my partner's choice 🤔 She always orders Rare Beef Hofan Soup but today she changed and ordered Shaking Beef and Rice ... I tried and ... 💥 boom ... a punch of a nice flavour in my mouth 🤩 yummy ... burnt garlic plus sourness from the side sauce ... yummy. I definitely want to come back and explore the menu 😋.

I've been there a few times and never was I disappointed by the food. My all time favourite is their shaking beef which feels like butter as it just melts in the mouth. The quality is consistent which is usually hard to get from a restaurant.
This place is our one to go to when wanting Vietnamese food as no other can compete in our eyes.
The staff has also always been super nice and patient with our toddler who can be quite loud and full of energy so that's a big plus for us. They always bring him a plastic bowl along with plastic toddler cutlery so definitely recommend to families with young kids👌🏽

The Vietnamese way—open on a public holiday (New Year’s Day). Food exactly like mum makes it, with a wide selection on the menu for me to introduce a few meals to my non-Vietnamese partner. Very happy!

Very busy restaurant offering a vast selection of Vietnamese food. Food is very good hence why it’s so busy. Definitely recommend a visit.

Great food. I had a Special Fried Rice on a weekday lunch time. It wasn’t too busy. The dine-in service and ambience is okay, but the standout is definitely the taste of the food. Quantity is decent.

Had beef with lemon grass and rice noodles. It was very delicious! Good prices (11-16$ most of it). But sitting near the door is not a nice atmosphere. Felt the cold wind blowing into the restaurant every time the door opened.

Second time we did not sit at the door and the food was again excellent. Prawn dumpling soup, huge portion, $15.50. A friend was also more than happy with a seafood soup.

Always love a good soup, especially with the cold weather. Friendly staff and prices are fair. Enjoyed our dinner of spring rolls, stuffed chicken wings and beef noodle soup. A favorite restaurant of my family.

This place is one of the best places for Vietnamese food in Perth. Meals come out pretty fast and are so cheap for the big amount of food you get. I used to take some Vietnamese agents there and they always used to say that some of the food was better at Viet Hoa than in Vietnam, especially saying that the pho was more flavourful. Highly recommend

Good food and fast service. Tried stuffed chicken wings , chicken mince rice with lemon grass and chicken curry with noodles . All the dishes were good. Do not sit opposite to the main door as it gets cold when ever some one opens the door. Will definitely go back

I have been going to Viet Hoa for about 12 years, ever since I saw a queue of people lining up at the door to get a table I knew it must be good! When it's busy the atmosphere is really noisy and you could easily imagine yourself somewhere in Vietnam. The service is quick and the prices are very reasonable. The servings are generous and the food is consistently delicious and authentic as you would get in Vietnam.
There are so many favourite dishes to recommend but you cannot go past No.1 PHO TAI Raw Beef Hofan Soup, the fragrant aromatics infused in a clear broth add a depth of flavour in which thin slices of tender beef are floated over rice noodles and a generous amount of fresh herbs, lemon and chilli are served on the side. No.8 GOI CUON Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls with pork and prawn. No. 29 COM TAM BI SUON CHA Pork chop and shredded meat with broken rice.
Real freshly ground Vietnamese coffee is the best, either hot or iced and so are the fruit shakes. Jackfruit is very popular and I like the Durian shake but it is an acquired taste for some people.
It is casual type dining, family friendly and unpretentious.

This Pho in Australia has earned its place among the best I've tried. Unlike typical Pho experiences where flavor fades after half a bowl, this one maintained its rich taste. Surprisingly, I relished the entire bowl without needing extra sauce. The rich taste was truly satisfying. The staff provided excellent and prompt service and making it a delightful dining experience. I'll certainly be returning.

Yum, yum, yum.. Absolutely loved the food here.. Friendly staff, helpful with the menu, very authentic.. Highly recommended! We'll return. 6/05/23 And we have returned and its gust as good as before. Third Vietnamese restaurant on our 2023 tour and the best by far!

We ordered Uber Eats not realising it was in Northbridge and not closer to home near Vic Park. But wow, the wait was worth it! The chicken and prawn salad had the tenderest chicken I’ve had in years with all the flavours just perfect. And the spring rolls - sooo good to have real, homemade ones! Will definitely be coming back for more 👏🏻👏🏻

They give amazing food for a low price and you will be satisfied. I recommend the seafood hofan soup. My partner and I will keep coming here.

Best soup in Perth. Always busy. It's BYO too although I usually go there for lunch and haven't used that element it's a nice option. Staff are attentive and quick to help.

Hot BIG bowl of Beef Pho. We had the Raw Beef Hofan Soup. The portion is BIG with generous slices of beef. The beef slice come medium to prefectly cooked after dipping in the piping hot soup. Beef slice is tender and soup is flavourful. Beef slice best dip in their Vietnam chilli sauce. Comfy food on a cold day in Perth.

Probably one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Perth. Do come early or try to make a reservation as it can get crowded really quickly in the evenings, especially on the weekends. Great location to grab drinks after too.
