I recently had a knee replacement done at the hospital in Nhill and we, my husband and I, were absolutely amazed at the professionalism shown. Everyone was so helpful, kind and encouraging. Nothing was too much trouble and you were treated with care and consideration. On another note the food was great as were the people serving it. Also, unexpectedly, had a follow up phone call which I found very surprising and it gave me a chance to say how impressed I was .

My mother passed away in the Nhill Hospital on 3/9/2015 after a long illness. The care she received and compassion shown to the family by all staff was sensational. A special thank you to the Director of Nursing who went out of her way to assist us in any way she could. Nhill and district people are very fortunate to have such a wonderful facility on their doorstep.

Better than Horsham Hospital.

Well looked after but had to wait long after appointment time

If you have young children that need to be seen urgently, do yourself a favour and avoid this hospital and go straight to Horsham. My daughter got taken up as advised by Nurse On Call and was turned away by emergency in Nhill. Reasoning was no doctors available until tomorrow and it’s too hard for a Telehealth doctor to do anything. No one even bothered to take a look at my daughter. Absolutely appalling I have no words. What is the point in having an Emergency Room if people seeking help just get turned away. Unfortunately this isn’t the first run in with this hospital I’ve had regarding my children and the lack of care that is had towards them. Do better.

If you are not white, and of any other background don't go and work here. Specially nurses. Most discriminate and racially profiling place to work. Hope one day it will come into light how many nurses have left this place due to discrimination and racial issues.

This place is always looking for nurses and other healthcare professionals. Why? As due to the above mentioned issues. No one wishes to stay and leave. Also it has come to our attention that, nurses are targeted by their managers and staff if you are from another country. We wish this place is audited by the Ombudsman or Safework Victoria. Contact past staffs who left this place.
