Excellent collection of machines, and could have spent HOURS inside.

If you don’t plan on playing, make a donation (there’s a little box on the window to the left as you enter). A lot of time, love and care has gone into this place.

Quick notes -
1. It is cash only. They have a machine to swap notes into tokens but no ATM. Closest is about 1.5km in town.

2. The motel might be able to help but they don’t open until 2pm

This place is a must stop for a sweet taste of Nostalgia as well as a whole heap of fun. We stopped in here enroute to Adelaide. Allow at least an hour if you really want to explore the games and have a play. I think we stopped there for nearly 2 hours. An amazing collection of new old and everything in between. We even stopped on the way back and smashed out a few more games. Had a great chat to the owner and learnt lots too. It's well worth the visit.

It's a wonderful place. I didn't think there would be a place like this in nhill. It's a lot of pinball machines. Both old and new The cost to play is 1-2 dollars per game. Go with friends, very fun, will go back again.

This place is great. Pinballs from 1900s. Arcade games. Friendly staff who are happy to give you a tour. They have the latest pinballs as well. We always try to stop over when travelling from SA to VIC or vice versa. Kids love playing the arcade games and the hand football.

Great way to waste a day. We only stayed a little while but could have stayed so much longer. You can play the machines as you like or get a day ticket for $20 (I think) and play the machines at your leisure all day! Definitely the way to go.

The pinball oasis! This has become a new destination must stop for any journey in either direction between Melbourne and Adelaide. I can't believe I haven't stopped in sooner, I had such a great time (even though I am terrible at pinball!)

Stopped on our way from Melbourne to Adelaide. The whole family convoy stopped on my request and all had a great ~30 min break. Owner was really nice and had a chat. Genuinely passionate about pinball. There’s a cash machine to change notes to tokens, and some pinball swag in their shop. It’s attached to a motel (museum located in the original caretakers house?), so you can use it as your overnight stopover as well. I originally heard about the museum at their PAX stall. See you again in October at this years PAX

I am very impressed at the vast array of pinball machines in this museum. They have both vintage and modern machines that you can play with. I had so much fun playing here that time seemed to pass so quickly. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

It's worth the trip out to Nhill, you can play on most machines for $1 to $2 dollars. We had lots of fun, I enjoyed the older machine, they were really unique. Make sure you bring some cash as there is no ATM on-site.

I stopped at this place in both directions this past weekend on a trip from Adelaide to Melbourne - on both Friday & Monday. What a great place! Spent a bunch of time playing various machines, I'm a little habitual so gravitated to a couple I know better than others, but did also have a go at some machines I hadn't played before. Whilst I didn't beat any high scores, and generally sucked, I still had a fun time, and will definitely stop again on my next trip - or maybe even make a special trip over to play some games! Staff were friendly and helpful, whilst not all machines were on when I arrived, they did tell me to ask if there were any in particular I wanted to play so they could fire them up for me. Thanks for keeping the pinball spirit alive!

Beautiful place for game lovers. This place carries 80 years history of pinballs. Each game will cost you only $2. On the way to Adelaide. Stop over for 15 minutes. Take a break and play and continue your driving again 😀

Worth stopping at if driving through Nhill. Lots of cool machines, souvenirs and information. I suck at pinball but still had plenty of fun. I like that the entrance to the museum itself has a couple of giant flippers.

Awesome place for Pinball enthusiasts.
We were on a family road trip from Sydney to Adelaide and heard about the Pinball Museum when staying overnight in Horsham. It is located in the small town of Nhill. There is over 80 years of pinball history on display and available to play. $1 and $2 to play and a change/token machine on-site. I particularly loved played Apollo 11 as it had up to 11 multi balls. My 3 kids loved playing pinballs for the first time. A well setup and presented attraction. Definitely worth a visit.

Surprising and amazing collection. Worth the stop. Have few games to break the boring drive to/from Adelaide and to support the museum. Recommended

If you love pinballs, you will think you've gone to pinball heaven!!! This place is awesome. Make sure you have lots of change as they are coin-operated. From the original to the newest, the variety is amazing. Great place to relive your youth. Be ready to lose half a day here, though!!

This is a must stop location. Stretch your legs for 30 minutes, sink $20 in tokens as you find that you're actually terrible at pinball but have such a good time losing that you don't even mind, as the locals tell you all about the different machines. There's so much great stuff here to look at and see and experience! I wish I took more photos to share. It's a dollar coin donation to wander around and just have a look, but your money would be better spent on tokens and have a good time!

*Take cash* A great place to stop for the whole family. Lots of different machines from across the decades which brings back the memories for the adults and are very intriguing for the younger ones. If you plan on playing any of the machines, take cash to exchange for tokens. Note, the token machine doesn’t give change so you may want to have smaller denominations to exchange.
