Union Hotel Nhill

Suprised it was an older building. I would say a classic building. Dated in side but friendly. Had a mixed grill it was great, one of the best I have had.
If your close call in, it is worth the experience.

Absolutely delicious and huge servings. Food was hot, fresh and came out quickly. Perfect example of don't judge a book brmy it's cover..... looks a bit dodgy when you enter, but the service and food is excellent.

Stayed at the Union hotel for 2 nights. Room were a lovely suprise. Spacious, our own bathroom, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities. Beautiful and clean. Split system for heating and a very comfy bed. What more could you ask for? We will definitely be back.

Great old pub, friendly staff. Meals were a proper pub meal, very nice and a value for the price. Price was about half for other places we visited.

Typical country pub meals offered... we got chicken schnitzels and serving size was great! Food was delicious and came out real quick and was hot! Drinks are well priced and there is a good selection. Staff were friendly and meals offered till quite late - when we went they were serving 1800-2030

The decor was dated but country feeling. There were huge televisions if there are any sports wanting to be watched, a pool table and an outdoor sitting area

Given hotel accommodation has a certain standard as a rule, especially really old girls. I was blown away by the quality of my room. It was spacious, stylish in design and the ensuit was great. Stay again without hesitation next time through.

Booked last minute as we weren’t able to get a place in Horsham over the long weekend. Contrary to some of the earlier reviews, the rooms are quite modern - they must have been refurbished recently. It was a clean, large room with a comfy bed. Would definitely stay over on a long drive again

What a great place to get away. Half way between Melbourne and Adelaide, you shouldn't go past this amazing hotel and pub. Great atmosphere, great people and fantastic service and food. I loved it here and will definitely come back again. Great family environment for those travelling with young children. Say hello to the regular pub goers and you will want to come back again and again and again!

We needed last minute accomadation due to the weather and they had a room for us the queen one. We rock up and are greeted before we even open the door. The process for check in was fast and we where in our room in seconds. We where offered to come down and have a drink on the house. Staff friendly. Place was clean. Room was beautiful. They even had pineapple juice in the fridge (for hangovers?) I thought that was genious . The pub noise couldn't be heard in the room. Shower was lovely pressure. I'd give them more stars if i could 10/5 from me

The meals here are really nice pub food, the honey and sesame prawns are amazing! Service was fantastic, really quick and friendly.

Had a great night at the Union. We overnighted in Nhill on a road trip and hit the pub for dinner. Ate in the front bar and yacked with the locals about farming, the weather, old days in Fitzroy, you name it. Pubs like this are a treasure being lost in many towns but Nhill's still got this one.

Booked in late on a Saturday after our car broke down coming from Adelaide to Melbourne. Mick's done a great job renovating the rooms upstairs. We were fed, well rested and looked after by the team. Thanks again.

Upstairs accomodation area has been renovated. Great room, very very clean with modern ensuite.

Very friendly publican serving excellent, large portioned pub meals. Makes Nhill a worthy stop on the Melbourne to Adelaide drive.

Had dinner here on a stop over to Adelaide. Nice meals, old fashioned hotel, really charming.

I love the old hotels and it's great to see them utilised. Counter meal was hugemongous and the bed and room just what I needed after a day of driving! Note the unrenovated area, can romantisise about the old days!

What a great pub. Awesome people. The rooms are fantastic. Beds really comfortable and coldest beer I've had from a tap.

Food was good. Drinks were refreshing. Bar staff nice and friendly.
