Ice Cream Social is an epic five-star destination for ice cream lovers. As I reveled in they're delightful flavors, I couldn't help but notice a man outside, his eyes filled with longing as he gazed threw the glass at the tempting assortment of frozen delights. It's moments like these that truly capture the epic experience of indulging at Ice Cream Social.

Lemon lime bitters ice cream 🍦 is sour and refreshing, loved it. We had a slice of Blum's coffee cake with honeycomb takeaway. Perfect combination!

We stumbled upon this place once and it looked so good we all ordered 2-3 different cakes and ice creams each lol, all were absolutely ridiculously delicious! There was a lemon curd tart thing which was insane. Made our night.

So I decided to go through them when looking for a baby shower custom cake. I sms’d an order through with inspiration images which they promptly answered enquiries to and paid via a text link two weeks before. Simple and effective, had gf and vegan options. Opted for 3 tier gf carrot cake. Was ready at the time specified, everyone loved it and commented on how professional and delicious it was. Moist, not too sweet, fresh and gorgeous. Thanks so much guys for making my day extra special 🩷 feeling the love for this family owned local business. It’s more homely style in aesthetic and flavour than commercial places which I love. Have ordered a custom cake once from somewhere else for same price and this was 100 times better.

This is my favourite dessert shop in Melbourne!!! You won’t find a place where the ice cream is so consistently tasty and the cakes so divine, every time. Staff are great, vibes are cute and decor is A1. As someone with lactose intolerance, the vegan ice cream is seriously good and always emulates the experience of dairy ice cream. And heaps of dairy free cakes and goodies as well if you’re not feeling ice cream.

Ice cream may not too many option, but it’s definitely high quality, they have matcha flavours! My all time favourite, not overly sweet and taste like tea. Double chocolate was pretty good, apple pie flavour seem pretty rare, but this one are gooooood!

The Ice cream flavours are rotated which I feel having a smaller amount of choices enables an easier decision to be made. While the rotation of flavours keeps it interesting. However, the best thing about this ice cream shop is the fact it has Apple Pie's! You would not believe how many times I have wanted a warm desert at night. only to go to desert places to find they only have cold cakes. It's so refreshing to see and I wish more desert places had in store made apple pies and warm tarts.

This place is a must when visiting the Thornbury area. The range of interesting cakes and ice creams is amazing. There's nothing generic about this place. Everyone I have brought here becomes a regular. The staff are always so friendly and patient because deciding what to try each visit takes some time! Their instagram has great jokes and memes, too 😊

Their cakes are SO GOOD, easily my fav dessert place in Melbourne.

Unassuming little ice cream and cake shop on High St. Never have I tasted such terrific flavours in ice cream.
On this visit I had 2 scoops: earl grey and choc orange. Soooo good!

My partner and I got takeaway snacks from here the other day. He chose the chicken and leek pie which he said was good (but a bit too heavy on the mushroom and light on the chicken). I got a vegan sausage roll that tasted like it was made with nuts. It was very meat like (maybe thanks to fennel?) and overall had great flavour and richness. Keen to go back and try some sweet offerings.

Obsessed is an understatement. When I moved from being a local, Ice Cream Social became my no.1 UberEats spot. It’s almost impossible to choose a favourite but it’d be a toss up between the Lemon Cream Tart with Mascarpone & Rhubarb, Strawberry Sponge, White Choc Miso Brownie or Cherry Pie 😍

Summer is coming and we are almost out of lockdown... nothing better than a social unless it is an Ice Cream Social.

All dad jokes aside. They have cakes, coffee, snacks, pies and of course ice cream. Highly recommend.

They keep changing the stock so you'll always be surprised.

Forever grateful to live within walking distance to this delicious heaven. The basque cheese cake is always a winner, but really I love it all. Thanks ICS!

They make one of the best cherry pies I've ever eaten. We tried a slice delivered first and enjoyed it so much we ordered a whole pie to celebrate an occasion. It's a shame they don't open until afternoon though.

Thank you for an off-the-chart icecream cake which made our ISO birthday celebrations extra good. Vegan brownie base + three vegan icecream flavours + dark chocolate on top + raspberries. Heaven ❤💕

What a treat to have a desert speciality shop open late in the neighbourhood! Hands down best dang ice cream in the area, and the lemon cream pie 🤤

Ate here on a whim while checking out the record store next door. Unfortunately I was only in Melbourne travelling or I’d be eating here every day. Can’t stop thinking about it. Had the cherry pie and it was amazing, all the other pies + goodies on display looked delicious, choosing was impossible. No pie photos available due to the speed with which I wolfed it down. Incredible. Friendly service also and cute spot. Thanks

So far I have tried Banoffee pie & the pumpkin & biscoff pie …. Outrageously good! No photo , ate too fast 💨
