Awesome bar out back of the bottle shops. Came in for the Mountain Culture collab, which felt like the hottest ticket in town. Great vibes and bloody amazing tap list for poo this year. Real good neighbourhood vibes and friendly service.

Prob fastest and best online craft beer store i use. Never had an issue bar one beer not being available and the legends called me within minutes of placing the order to sort it out. Highly recommend.

Been fortunate to call Carwyn the local over the last 8 years. Great beers, whiskeys, bottle shop and food. Huge vibe on a sunny afternoon watching High st in full life with a cold pint.

My partner and I had a drink here. It was pretty cool actually, you just scan in, and then you download the drinks menu at your outdoor table and its all table service.

The range of craft tap beers is pretty special, as was my American Pale Ale.

My partner had another beer which was good, but not as good as mine hahaha.

I called in here w a few friends. I like a good craft beer selection and this place had one of the biggest menus that I’ve seen.

I tried a pineapple beer which was almost a juice, both in consistently and density. Mmnn not my favourite.

The chocolate brown stout was better, creamy with a good flavour.

The third beer I tried was more of a pale ale and this was the winner. This place also sells beers and other drinks that you can drink on site, in the beer garden which I’m definitely doing next time.

And the beer garden is great, except on a hot day in full sun lol

Carwyn is a really great bar and bottleshop. There is a really solid selection of drinks in the bottleshop, and staff are helpful and friendly. In the bar out the back there is a massive beer board, which can seem intimidating at first, but bar staff are very helpful and patient, which is appreciated. They also have wines, and a small selection of cocktails. The food here is really very good. It’s only a little food van out the back, but the quality of food is really excellent, and they also have veggo/vegan options too, which are as good as if not better than the meat options. It would be nice to see free-range chicken and grass-fed beef, just ethical meat on the menu, and I feel like they would set themself apart from other businesses in the area by doing this.
Also came here for Oktoberfest, beer from a stein is a nice touch, and the schnitzel and potato salad was very good. As were the german sausages. The pretzels weren’t fresh though, and we would have liked some special butter to go with them, not just ordinary butter. My only problem with Carwyn is that it’s very popular, and basically not big enough for the crowds it attracts sometimes.

Best place in Melbourne for craft beer. I’ve never been disappointed by the tap list; they also have loads of cans/bottles for drink in or or take out. Regular TTOs and events which are often bonkers; they often get beer from some pretty special breweries (hype overseas stuff etc). Also strong spirits (things like George T Stagg) and wine selections. Interesting to see what happens now they’re owned by Fox Friday, hope it doesn’t change too much.

One of my all-time favourites, and worth travelling for if you don’t live in Thornbury. The ever-changing beer list is exceptional and diverse. In summer, you can’t beat the back courtyard where they’ll often host a local food truck serving up yummy wood fired pizzas or other local cuisines.

One of the few places in Melbourne with a choice of multiple imperial stouts and dark beer on tap at all times. Also a great vibe! They do a home delivery box that I got for a while, was great value and had amazing beers! Altogether a gem!

It's a really atmospheric place. Venue is nice, staff are nice too but have no idea what a qld drivers license looks like.

5/5 will confuse them with the presence of a non-Victorian again

So many good beers on tap. Loved the selection of One Drop brews. Kept us busy all afternoon.

An extensive selection of beers on tap and wine. Plenty of seating inside and outside. If you're hungry you can also order food from Kustom Burger and have it while you enjoy a drink. The bottle shop area also has a variety of drinks to take home.

Craft beer at its finest, friendly helpful staff memeber helped me look for some international craft beer and the tap selection is out of this world. Highly recommend.
