They have really good fresh food. I always get their cheese or ghee Dosai. That was delicious all the time. And the portions are great. Service is also great. The best thing is Fresh tasty food for the cheapest price

Deliciousness in every bite🤤
Quality and quantity serves the price paid. Self service and huge ambience makes it quicker to eat and make way to others.

Been visiting here for the last 10 years. Restaurant is located inside Shiva Vishnu Hindu temple premises.Serves only veg food. Quantity and pricing are unmatchable. Gets busy during weekends. Run by volunteers. Abundant parking available.

I bought ghee roast, kesari and ladu. It was worth the price. Food is quickly made, they will call your token number once it's done, and there is not much waiting time. Once you finish your food, you have to take your plates and leave it on the table on the left side of the hall. The restaurant is located adjacent to the temple.

Best place in Melbourne to have a authentic South Indian breakfast. Very clean and well organised. Food is outstanding. Not expensive at all. Only drawback is that it is bit far from the city. The toilet facilities are very good. It's right next to the popular Hindu temple. A must visit place for people who have cravings for South Indian breakfast.

This cafe is located inside the Shri Shiva Vishnu temple campus. It’s a cafeteria type self-serve restaurant. As we visited this place on a weekend, there was a long queue to place the order. After waiting in the queue for about 30mins, I placed the order. They served some items immediately and asked me to wait for my turn for the other items. There was a big tv which showed our order number when it was ready. In a few minutes we got the rest of the order. There were a lot of seats but hard to find seating on a weekend. They also have drinking water, cutlery, tissue which we can get ourselves as needed.

The food taste was very good, especially given the nominal price. I never got 2 decent sized samosas for $2.5 in recent times. Pongal and poori was excellent, but the coffee was average though. I’d visit again if I get the chance. Thanks.

I will be honest, sometimes I only come for the food not the temple next door. The best affordable South Indian food down under, and they know how to make a real strong filter coffee

Good satvik food and atmosphere. Food is inexpensive and tasty. Mostly South Indian cuisine. Crowded on some weekends and special days. I usually avoid queuing up if there is a long queue. Volunteering staff are respectful and helpful.

Amazing food, super affordable and a divine vibe & that's why it's always crowded. It's run by volunteers and a charity organisation, so you have to have patience if you want the delicious food at this price. It's self service and they already mention that the food will take at least 20-30mins on a busy day. And there's a queue on weekends. But the wait is totally worth it 🖤
Loved it.

Friendly volunteer staff, great South Indian vegetarian dishes. I just wish there were more options with no onions and garlic in addition to a few that are there.
