Le Phan Vietnamese Restaurant

Stumbled across this Restaurant tonight with 2 friends and excellent.
Fried Rice $17 which sounded expensive.
The quality and smell amazing. 10/10.
Soft Noodle King Prawns & Vegetables in Oyster sauce. Delicious.
Quality food. Vegetables very hard but will know next time to ask well cooked.
We all loved our meals.

Warm, friendly and hospitable are the first words that come to mind. The menu is exciting, featuring a few dishes that you don't always see and the structure of the menu is clever and practical. The food was fresh and full of flavour. Lovely little local ❤❤

Ordered dinner to take-away with my husband, most definitely not what I expected at all, service was good, efficient and friendly. The food was way too good for take out! Cannot wait to come back and dine-in! We ordered duck, brisket, squid salad, bao and rice. Flavours were clean, light and fresh and meals were boxed up beautifully. Located opposite the beach in Sandy, if you wanted a fancy take-out on the beach this is definitely the place to come.

The food and friendly atmosphere are amazing.

I’m so glad I discovered Le Phan. Their beef pho is one of the best I’ve had! The broth was so tasty and rich. The beef betel leaves were also incredible. The service was super attentive and friendly. We were well taken care of. I’ll certainly come again when I’m around Sandringham!

I am constantly amazed at the incredible taste sensations of each and every dish I try at Le Phan. As well as being absolutely delicious the service is amazing, the staff are extremely attentive and are very happy to be so. Going their for dinner is like dining at a friends home, it is warm, welcoming and very friendly. I will return again and again.

My friend and I were so happy to find this place. Quality Vietnamese is so important and this place is. Love waiting, decor and the food was beautiful. I took leftovers how because we went a little overboard.

The Pho was so good the next day. I actually had it for breakfast like I have when I visited Vietnam.

One suggestion to the owners, is that you shouldn't assume every customer doesn't know how to use the lettuces for spring rolls and other dishes.

In 30 years of eating Vietnamese food this was the first time someone tried to teach me how to eat springrolls. Or asked me if I knew.

It wasn't a bad thing and they were being nice about it, I just found it funny as I'd never experienced that before, not even in Vietnam.

But I don't live in Sandringham, so maybe the locals aren't as experienced. But most people from Melbourne should know.

Excellent food! Truly loved this place! We had the Bun Kho with grilled chicken, it was delicious and fresh. Also the chicken salad, which is beautifully served on a giant rice cracker and soo tasty. To start we had the minced poked rolled on lemongrass and it was incredible! Staff is really friendly and kind as well.

Great food and friendly hard-working staff. BYO wine is a plus. I recommend the duck dishes in particular. Good variety of courses. Near the beach so an ideal way to end a summery day in a bayside suburb like Sandringham or Brighton.

I have had takeaway from Le Phan twice now and have been very impressed. The food tasted great, the quantity was good and the ingredients were all fresh. I had the pho the first time which was one of the best I had and the second time I had the grilled squid. I was very impressed with the squid. Highly recommended

Food and service both fantastic. Authentic, tasty and incredibly well priced Vietnamese food in the heart of Sandringham. Everyone we take here has loved it and continue to go back!
This food would not be out of place in South Yarra, St Kilda or the city. Hidden little gem
