We had a really bad experience with Bill Wyndham & Co Real Estate Orbost.
We had a short stay in an old farm house for a few months. During our stay everything was very relaxed and easy with our agent.
We kept the property in excellent condition and when we left, the property was in a far better condition than when we moved in.
However, on exiting the rental. We were hit with a bill to not only clean the house professionally but also to fix a degrading flyscreen door on the outside of the house that had deteriorated with the wind.
Our agent felt it was our responsibility to fix it and pay for repairs as we were the tenants while it happened.
We could not get our bond back until we paid for the repairs.
This was repair work that the landlord should have been responsible for.
But our agent decided we tenants were the ones that had to pay.
We were going to take the matter to VCAT but had just moved out and gone back to Melbourne.
Dont fall into the trap we fell into.
Do be fooled by the laid back and relaxed attitude of this company. Go through the condition report with a fine tooth comb, be vigilant, call up at the first sign of any damage no matter how small. Dont be naive like we were.

Absolutely the worst realestate I’ve ever rented through. Very unprofessional, do not recommend going through them for anything.
