Orbost Regional Health

Yesterday 27th of may 2023 I felt ill after having chemo I went straight to Orbost regional health i got the best care excellent staff I could have which they never hesitate to sent me to Bairnsdale Hospital. Anna Wilson

Admin girls are terrific, helpful, cheery and professional but always very busy. Dr. Nadira Anis is exceptional, knowledgeable, intuitive, to the point and over worked. The only negative I can express has to do with upper management. The clinic has great potential but I believe is somewhat mismanaged creating a negative experience for some.

Had an injury that needed immediate care. Was treated well, with speed and efficiency. They also provided on going care for nearly a month.

Visitors to Orbost need to understand that this clinic is in the middle of nowhere, it is also perpetually short of Doctors, Nurses, & Staff; mainly due to being in the middle of nowhere! There is only ONE Permanent GP, Dr. Nadira Anis, who is great, but heavily overworked.
This Small Clinic also has a disproportionately large catchment area, Doctors have to do 'In person' appointments, Telehealth consultations, and often have to duck over to the hospital for Urgent cases.
If you have long-term chronic conditions, do yourself a favour & always plan well ahead of time.
If you can't make your booking, call & tell them ASAP.
People are quick to cry foul when things don't run perfectly, try & remember to show your appreciation when things do go as planned!
Our town is Lucky to have these facilities at all imo.

Covid. What can I say.

Worst Medical Centre. The Doctors make you wait for hours (while they get coffee after coffee), say your fine and then charge you. If you are lucky to get medication, make sure it is signed and double check with another doctor it is right for you.

In trying to do the right thing and getting tested after coming back from our holiday from NSW, we were turned away from being tested and told to get tested once we got into Melbourne. After calling 7 times with no answer, I walked in to check on whether we would be able to get tested only to be told no. If you answered your phone maybe people wouldn’t have to wait around to find out that information. Don’t know how this place operates if no one ever picks up the phone

Ayman armanious who is a locum (as can’t qualify as a gp) lacks medical knowledge as cannot identify symptoms and over prescribes medicines incorrectly. Very unprofessional. Please see a real doctor

Long waits, People being put in before you (when you clearly have the appointment time and turned up 15 mins early), with nasty professionals and distasteful locals this clinic will leave you amazed and amused yet somewhat dissatisfied.

Bullies and incompetents. A dangerous place.
