My go-to for amazing traditional Thai food. They make the most authentic Laksa, which for all Laksa lovers.. is hard to find. They are all so friendly and are more than happy to cater to dietary requirements. The food is made completely fresh right in front of you and packaged perfectly if you need to take away. This will always be my number one Thai restaurant.

Recently moved to Murrumbeena area and was looking for a nice Chinese take away so thought will give it a go after reading all the positive reviews. The food was amazing and tasted excellent. The quantity was also adequate. The owner also gave us some chilli sauce on the side which not many restaurants give. We now know we've found our new favourite take away place and will definitely come back. Keep up the good work guys👍

The best Chinese takeout I have ever had! Everything is super delicious and packed full of flavour. I've never had beef and black bean sauce that tastes that good! I also love the singapore noodles, they are so tasty - simply addictive! The food is very affordable with generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. The service is always super quick so you don't have to wait too long before you can dig in. In short, if you're looking for good Chinese food, you've gotta try Fat Cat Takeaway!

A regular weekend take out place. Great authentic chinese food, it's always tasty, fresh and fantastic value with a complimentary bottle of soft drink when you spend over certain amount. We love their Malaysian curry chicken, dumplings, noodle dishes and cute cat 🐈 decor.

I walked one hour to get to Fat Cat and it was worth it.

Char Ke Teow(?) is very flavorful.
Lots of shrimps, squids and fish cakes.

Easily one of the best asian takeaways around Murrumbeena. I had the splendid char kway teow noodles and the satay chicken. Both were so delicious that we will only be ordering it from here in the future. The spiciness of the noodles and the sweetness of the satay complimented each other.
Will try other items on the menu for sure. 😊

Food is fresh and tasty...takeaway. thoughly enjoyed singapore noodles, sichuan chilli fried rice and mee goreng. Will add photos next time!

A work mate of mine highly recommended this joint for lunch and I was not disappointed. The best dim sims and satay chicken skewers I’ve had. Extremely affordable and the service was great.

If I could give them 100 stars I would, gladly. They are amazing! My husband and I have ordered from them over 6 times now and not once did they disappoint. The winner dish for us so far was their prawn pad Thai. I've had that three times now and couldn't take a snap for once because once you start eating you won't stop for anything! Hands down the best Pad Thai I've had in my life.
The chicken satay is amazing too. And quite cheap considering the portion size and the mind blowing taste.
Kudos to the super friendly and talented staff. Keep those amazing dishes coming🤗

Amazing! I just discovered this hidden local gem and I am so happy. Sizes are great with great quality meat and veg perfectly cooked. Flavour is spot on and the soup was like a warm hug. I called ahead and asked a few questions regarding my order the chef was very friendly and very accommodating. Can't wait to go back, it's definitely my local go to now!

I live down the road from this place and have been a couple times. I cannot rate them highly enough! Their food always tastes fantastic, the staff are lovely and know their regular customers well, and their lunch special is great for when I'm working from home. Just across Murrumbeena Station and conveniently located within a 30-second walk to the local bar!

Delicious food. Satay chicken sticks are the best in Melbourne. Spring rolls are very tasty and the tiger prawns are fantastic

What a great takeaway! Had to get it again a few days later it was that good. We tried completely different dishes the second time around and absolutely everything was so full of flavour and spice, absolutely perfect. If you’re a Brit you’ll love the Malaysian curry. It’s exactly like curry sauce and works perfectly mixed in with their fried rice. Will be back, and will be recommending to others. Keep it up FatCat. 💜

Honestly the best takeaway in Melbourne. I never share my opinion online but really felt I needed to give credit where credit is due. Every dish from Fat Cat is delicious and well made - large portions of both meat and vegetables. My partner is intolerant to fructose and getting takeaway is extremely difficult but they always cater for him, making it evident that everything is made fresh in store (and the taste is proof too). Cannot praise them enough!

This has been my absolute fave take away for the last 5 yrs. Food quality is always high, always consistent and value for money. The dim sims are amazing, the calamari is delicious and the noodles so comforting. We always order the same meals because they’re so good. We are very sad to be moving away to cheltenham where they don’t deliver to. Nothing around there compares :(

This restaurant has made it's way on to our Top 3 asian restaurants in Melbourne!! Huge call right?! We got this food as take-away and we ordered the Singapore noodles, Beef black bean, Nasi Goreng and Japanese style fried chicken and weren't disappointed with our choices! My husband rated the food 10/10 and he doesn't give these scores too easily. The food was made from high quality fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious! Can't wait to order again next take-out night!
