The Mango Tree

Ordered the Lamb and Chicken Mix Kottu. Very friendly service and asked spice level. Food was amazing and full of flavour. Definitely will be returning when I’m in the area again.

Recently Mango Tree catered a Lunch for a function we held. We are also regular customers of their restaurant for dine-in and takeaway. The owner Jana is very friendly, customer-oriented, well experienced, and understanding. The food was delicious and value for money, the service was prompt, and the shop was very clean. We would highly recommend this Sri Lankan/Indian cuisine to anyone.

Mango tree is one of the finest Sri Lankan restaurants in Melbourne. Their food is always good in quality and quantity. I personally recommend their Kottu and Snacks. Their string copper is also yummy. The price is also reasonable. Device could be improved as there is always a delay. Highly recommended!

Awesome food, rice with 4 type of veg curries in 8:50 and with one no veg curry 9:50, delicious yummy food very affordable price 🥰 I love chicken and dal so yummy. It’s near by my office and used go frequently 😄

This is my 1st time visit. Ordered chicken roll, chicken fried rice, chicken curry, egg roti, plain roti. Food was amazing, specially fried rice & chicken roll. I loved it. Definitely will order next time.

I little but warm place. If you are up to spicy food this is the place to visit in Dandenong. Has a good and cheap menu, with one $12 dish you can eat and share with a friend.

Went several times to this place. Absolute delicious foods. The girl in front of the store really well managed to pack up and organise the orders. Was very friendly with the customers. Good portions as well. Highly recommended to go and have a taste.

This place is so good, that i have been there 3 times past 2 months. Each time we go, we always order different varities of food and each item is delicious.Very affordable price and friendly staff. Never been disappointed.

Got a curry and roti pack with lamb, dhaal and eggplant all were delicious and the 2 roti were quite big. Eggplant was different to what I’m used to was very creamy but very nice. Also bought a serving of okra which I’ve never had before and it was cooked but it looked delicious and was, cooked like how I’ve had curried eggplant before and was the best curry of the 4 I tried. Best curry I’ve had in years. Also bought a lamb roll, it wasn’t a traditional pan roll as it was wrapped in a roti, but was yum yum and for $3 was a complete bargain. I got 2 curry packs, 3 meats, 3 veg, rice, 2 roti, separate serve of okra curry and a pan roll for just over $40, enough for at least 3 people. Will go back there very soon

Delicious food friendly service 😋

Convenient location and plenty of parking at KFC. You can enjoy variety of Srilankan dishes here, especially Biryani, and Kottu rotti.This place is also famous for pan rolls and stuffed rottis too. Consistency in service and food preparation is still lacking as you may see new faces pretty much every day at the counter.

Great place to grab delicious Sri Lankan or South Indian takeaway especially late at night. Very reasonably priced, friendly service and flavourful tasty dishes.

Mango Tree provided a vegetarian buffet for our hindu ceremony - it was absolutely delicious, especially the Okra curry and the sweet tea. They were very compliant with covid protocoles. Thank you very much, the food was so popular among our guests.

Really respect the owner giving out free food on Thursdays to international students during this time of COVID. People need a heart to give out free food like this. Absolute respect! I even saw people who were not students getting food. Food is always great at this place.

This is my favourite Sri Lankan restaurant for the past five year. Best fresh food,clean, good customer service,reasonable price. Me and my friends buy our food here often always had only good experience. If anyone is willing to have Sri Lankan food Mango tree is the best place. It is unbelievable to see a customer saying bad about this restaurant.
