I'd definitely stay at El Kanah again - it's a perfect option for a night or two in Marysville.

Our experience may have been unusually good (we just happened to have the whole place almost to ourselves and were kindly upgraded to a better room), but it's a great building and the service was lovely.

The Premier Room was a good size, including a nice balcony with mountain views. The room decor and facilities were fairly basic but still everything we needed and more.

It was all perfectly family-friendly too, with a couple of games rooms including pool, table tennis, and table football.

The check-in time was 2pm (just chill out around Marysville until then, if you're early) and check-out was 10am.

Wow what an amazing weekend away at the Elkanah Lodge! The rooms were new and relaxing, the conference rooms large and warm. The food was delicious though a little cold. Phone reception was good, the views were stunning. In walking distance of Marysville.

I will definitely go back again.

Really loved our 1 night stay here. The rooms are modern and clean. Great for children as they have little activities rooms. Best is the continental breakfast setout in a lovely dining room overlooking peaceful scenery. We were lucky to have the restaurant open for dinner which was convenient on a cold winter evening. As for the staff. Absolutely friendly and helpful esp the two ladies in the restaurant/dining. Highly recommend!!

Our second stay at this venue. Two adults and one child. Excellent facilities and staff. Very happy with all the meals we ate there.
Lovely surroundings and plenty of places, nooks and crannies to get outside on the property itself.
If you are mobile , it's pretty easy to walk into the township from this location.
Will gladly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Marysville.

First visit. Book this room as we are planning to go to Lake Mountain area for winter holiday. The place is clean. The room is standard but meet our expectation and need. It has basic reuirement such as toiletteries, coffee and tea, tv, iron and board, chairs and comfortable bed. However, as we got upstair room, it has balcony with good view.
It has entertainment rooms and multi function room too. Has lift for accessing 1st floor while carrying alot of luggage and fireplace for classic winter spot. Unfortunattely the other tennant abuse the fireplace as a heater and drier for their wet shoes and garment. So sad.
Otherwise this place was great and definitely coming back.

Beautiful place to relax and recharge. Surrounded by beautiful scenery that is recovering slowly from the 2009 Bushfires. Friendly staff. Competitive room rates. Great food in the restaurant. Only one to offer Asian food as they have a Balinese cook. It's a guesthouse with communal TV lounges for gatherings rather than being imprisoned in your hotel room.

What a beautiful beautiful place! So serene and peaceful and simply perfect for a retreat. Such delicious food. Clean, well maintained and stylish layout, decor, rooms and amenities. Ensuite bathroom. Cupboard in each room. Chapel is so sweet and the view is just divine. I can just imagine what it'll be like with snow on it. BBQ facilities and car parking on site.

Lovely reception by staff. Very accommodating. Was the perfect place for my family as there is a kids room with toys etc as well as breakout spaces for adults to use in the evenings. Breakfast is simple but more than enough.

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at this incredible venue and could not speak more highly of all aspects of our time away. Stunning views from our room with a north facing private balcony, bed extremely comfy and facilities spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. We ate both evening meals in dining and the cook was very accomodating to dietary requirements and both our meals were top quality at a very reasonable price. We enjoyed a pleasant 20 min walk along a bush track to explore town and even spotted a wallaby along the way. A visit to Steavenson Falls is also a must, even at night when it is flooded with light created by its very own turbine. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place. Beautiful surroundings. Fantastic value. Good food. Friendly, caring staff. Clean rooms. What more could you ask for? This place has got to be Marysville's best kept secret.. 2 mins drive from the village centre you might easily overlook it. Well worth a try.

We had a two day conference, it was an easy drive from Melbourne, beautiful setting with easy access to nice walks and facilities.

I have been going here since I was a little kid. I remember the old building that burnt down on Black Saturday perfectly as I used to play hide and seek there. The new building is fantastic five star service, Amazing food and beautiful surrounds will keep me coming back year after year.

Such a lovely place, filled with lovely people. This place is non for profit and don't have a big budget for advertising. Next time you are staying in Marysville I strongly suggest you give it a go. You wont be disappointed.

This place is lovely and blessed of God. I received wonderful healing and made new friends. I've come out better than when I came in, feel at peace and at rest and know that many will be touched by El Kanah!
