The steam boat 1 + half hour tour was well worth doing. It's good to see the accommodation along the river bank.
Lots of motor boats and jetskis along the way. It's holiday time Now in January.
In February it's to hot to visit.

Nice. Fascinating history and information. Really helpful staff and nice gift shop. They have cool interactive displays and good toilets, very important whilst travelling 😁. Would reccomend. You can also go outside and look at old machinery and see the paddle steamers in steam moving around taking people on trips. Overall a really nice place.

The port has an impressive and very interesting history and the museum does a great job making it accessible with modern displays and entry is free! They also offer river cruises on the paddle steamers.

It is a worthy place to enjoy in the Echuca area. You can find a variety of restaurants and shops with the unique old vibe. You can go back in history by visiting an experience centre (tickets required) or ride in a riverboat.

It's always interesting visiting the Port of Echuca. We were lucky enough to see several steam boats moving up and down the Murray. The wharf itself and the Discovery Center were very interesting.

I love how they preserved the history of Port Echuca ⛴. You can choose options on either cruising with lunch included or just the cruise itself. Lots of great shops and restaurants nearby.

small old town, Museum is free entry, nice view of The River Murray. The horse cart ride took 10$ for each adult. The city is famous for ice cream and winery. Free testing is available in few shops.

I haven't been here for decades, but it still has that period charm that it's known for. Blokes, the steam engines operating out the back of the tourist centre are a sight to behold. Sorry ladies, I assume most of you wouldn't be captivated by this, but I shouldn't assume should I.

The Port of Echuca Discovery Centre has staff that are welcoming, friendly and informative.
The Steam engine display is a must for Steam Rally enthusiasts. Well informed staff with a friendly attitude. You can ask anything about the steam engines and they will tell you in an interesting and educational way, about the history of the Steam engines on display, how they run and the history behind them.
I highly recommend this location for tourists to learn about the Port of Echuca and it's history. The displays of the equipment on display is interactive and fun to learn about the Port of Echuca.

Great museum. Plenty to see. Enjoyed the one hour informative tour. The guide was excellent with an engaging manner and plenty of understanding of the history that answered the question 'Why Echuca?' Book for 11.30 or 1.30. The afternoon tour appears the quieter of the two. Plenty of souvenirs available. The museum has three entry. You can also book Paddle steamer rides here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Also enjoyed the Port After Dark lantern tour. Well led by the guide.

I’d recommend you to Pre-book tickets.
Paddle steamers are quite popular and not all paddlesteamers operate daily.
Port after dark was one of the highlights of our visit. Enjoyed every bits of the 1 hour guided ghost tour and stories, amazing way to learn the history of port of Echuca.
Free entry to museum.

History! The Paddle Steamers, the boats and buildings date back into the 1800's! Enjoy a walk back into the "Olden Days".
