WHAT: Oversized nursery and magical greenery wonderland

We often take interstate visitors here for a wander and a coffee.

This place is amazing. The display garden is well worth the gold coin donation to see. It has clearly taken lots of planning and effort to create. The rambling paths take you through imaginative landscaping, and it is a huge area to explore. The nursery also has a variety of plants at reasonable prices.

Go there! Take a gold coin each, lose yourself in the garden, see something huge and look at it until you see all the small things you missed, enjoy the sun! Find the Cheshire Cat, enjoy the art, get lost, find your way again. Enjoy the cafe! Browse the nursery and think of ways you could start your own garden. This place is amazing, it was a random stop but a place I'll happily go back to!

Best Nursery in Victoria, especially if you're into your cacti and succulents! Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a nice garden bit to have a stroll in, with some nice and quirky objects semi-hidden in the greenery, giving it a sort of mini open-air museum vibe. 5 stars!

Wow! If you have been going to Bunnings for your plant needs up until now, upon arriving at Roraima Nursery you will find out that everything about your life is a lie. This place is an absolutely stunning place. The nursery that sells plants is absolutely beautiful, with so many plants to choose from, different sizes, great price, great variety, ity beautiful paths you feel line you are somewhere magical. Then you stumble upon the display garden... Tucked away, why this hasn't become a hub for weddings and events is a mystery, this is the sort of garden that people would pay thousands to have their event at.

Has to be seen to be believed! We took the kids and the kids loved it!

This is the most interesting nursery I have ever seen, not only unusual plants, but the artefacts that surround the plants are amazing. It has to be seen to be believed. I have been in horticulture most of my life & have visited many nurseries, but never one as fantastic as this.

We visited just expecting a nursery, but the gardens were an amazing surprise. It was like walking through a flowering forest with old relics to discover along the way. Truly beautiful.

Always noticed the nursery from the Princess freeway but did not think twice about visiting. Then heard about the garden. It is well worth the visit to see the beautiful garden. It is a gold coin donation to enter, but worth it. Only the pictures will tell the experience better.

This nursery is a national landmark. The work gone into the gardens is an astonishing creative work of art. The staff are passionate and know their stuff. You will find plants, trees, shrubs that you won't find anywhere else as they are sourced with rare skill. The pricing is extremely fair. If you want to create your own work of art in your garden come here.

This is well worth traveling across Melbourne to see! We spent 3 hours wandering the grounds and choosing our plants from the massive range! Lile(?) has built them himself, knows every plant on the grounds and could answer any question we had on anything! If you love plants and gardens it’s definitely a must see!

This is a WONDERFUL and totally UNIQUE experience featuring display gardens that have taken over 15 years to create, filled with an exuberant collection of unusual and interesting trees, shrubs, succulents, cacti, water plants, etc all interspersed with sculptural industrial salvage items large and small. You’ll just keep walking around with a big smile on your face, marvelling at how in 2001 the owner, Lyle Filippe, turned a derelict nursery on a flat piece of land in Lara beside the Melbourne-Geelong freeway into a whimsical horticultural wonderland with secret nooks, a magical water garden, and meandering paths that twist and turn, revealing ever-changing vistas that constantly delight the eye. Lots of plants to buy, especially the large and diverse range of succulents and cacti. Check out the website: www.roraimanursery.com.au
