Hellas Cakes

Great find in Richmond for brunch and cakes. Affordable. Lovely staff. Plenty of seating. Can improve on brunch variety though. 4.5 stars ☺

I came in rushed to organise catering for a meeting in about 2 hours. I needed to organise coffee, cakes, drinks and sandwiches. Amy and her team made it look easy. Took the stress away, asked the right questions and even walked it 500m down the road at two different times. First the coffee order and then lunch. The bonus is food is fresh, healthy and the deserts are amazing. Try the baclava!

Best chocolate baklava I've ever eaten for one. Secondly, the staff were so friendly and accomodating. Finally, all the items we ordered off the menu, trust me we ordered a lot, were all awesome!! Loved it, will be back, again, and again.

Having heard the news of its closure of this institution is an absolute devastation.

I remember the initial owner when I was a child selling papers from the local paper shop on Swan Street and I would sell to him the Greek newspaper. He loved his Greek Easter which was celebrated annually and with pride. This will be severely missed and be fond memories.

BEST TOASTIE OF MY LIFE.
I just had the most incredible Bacon & Egg Toastie (+ cheese for even better flavour) and I couldn't help but need to make sure everyone tries this and knows how amazing Hellas is! Perfectly cooked, so flavoursome, still hot and super quick for my pickup order. But nothing less than expected as Hellas always provide amazing service, even if you're just dashing in for some delicious baklava or catered sandwhiches (seriously, all the food is amazing)!.

Hellas food, coffee and service is always of exceptional quality, fresh and always of more than decent size. Peter and the entire team have always been lovely and friendly to me and my family.

Was served by a gorgeous, friendly young woman who was accommodating with our requests. The lime tart was to die for and our other purchases were well received too. Will be back.

I come to melb every week to see my Dr, who coincidentally is in the same street as Hellas Cakes. I have been doing this for many years. & Before every appt I go to Baklava Heaveñ ( Hellas Cakes) for my familys weekly supply of Baklava, & I get a little lime tart for my Dr. I wonder sometimes what's sweeter, the staff or the amazing delights of Baklava Heaven.

Miss going hear for my afternoon coffee and eating spinach and cheese pastry and also awsome coffee and the morrocon salad with or with out grilled chicken awsome and sweets and to much more to mention thumbs up....

Place has a nice vibe, staff were all nice, service was excellent, food and coffee tastes amazing!
