Wallaroo Jetty

Beautiful, expansive jetty at a beautiful part of the town. Great for a long walk, cast a line for some fishing or just take in the beautiful water.
Can even time it to be there when a large boat is in port too!

Nice jetty, plenty of space to fish. Well visited/popular jetty. Part of jetty gets blocked off if ships are in. Beautiful area and swimming area not far from the jetty.

A large number of people can be spotted fishing by the Jetty. Additionally, there are sizable vessels belonging to a nearby agriculture company.

Great place to visit. One of our favourite places. The beach is beautiful and the Boat House cafe at the Jetty is a lovely spot to take a break

Nice, wide jetty with views of silos, ferry terminal, WWH & more. Great spot for fishing. Water was clear enough to see fish in some spots.

Worth the walk to the end of the pier with a great view of silos on shore .

Beautiful area. There is a cafe there with seating outside. Nice spot to have a picnic.

Great long jetty good fishing

Great place to spend time with Family and friends by going for a walk up the Jetty or doing some fishing, the jetty is mainly used for loading the ships with grain when in season and when they are doing that it attracts fish because of the spillage of the grain into the sea. They also have a caravan park and good eateries that’s only a walking distance that can be handy.Check out the Photos that was taken back in 2016 when a bad storm hit the jetty and caused damage

Beautiful little beachside town. Great cafes on the main drag. And there's a fantastic little charity store with fabulous things to buy.

Beautiful and calm jetty when I backed from pink lake to Adelaide.

Not very special for myself but must be the paradise for the locals who love fishing.

Ive always loved going there, since I was a kid. Either fishing, swiming or just going for a walk. Just a gorgeous spot 😍 with beautiful views.....

A wonderfully picturesque jetty in a beautiful sea side town.

the Jetty is perfect for fishing, swimming or simply a stroll.
The jetty itself is historically significant, but it remains in very good repair making it very convenient for strollers, fishing wagons and the usage of ramps over stairs leads me to believe that it would be convenient for the ambulatory limited.

The parking is plentiful and signage to get there is great. During my visit there was numerous parking options available.

The jetty is conveniently located near two cafes, the one I visited also had take away options, so it made my stroll extra special.

I used a stop at the Wallaroo Jetty as my rest stop heading through on a longer drive. A wholeheartedly great way to spend some time out of the car and stretch your legs and enjoy the ambiance of the town and the jetty

The biggest set back was the lack of nearby toilet, but 700m away near the town hall are some very clean well appointed toilets which included mens and womens ambulatory public toilets, something that can be a rarity in a smaller town.

If you are using the ferry and starting/finishing your Eyre Peninsula trip in Wallaroo do yourself a favour and spend some time at this delightful spot.

It's an amazing place in south Australia. Long and beautiful beach, white sand and hot water. And the best, it's not to far from Adelaide

Beautiful place to sit at night with the dogs and watch the sun go down - watching people crabbing and fishing - gorgeous night skies

If you want to enjoy your time with family don’t forget to go to Wallarroo jetty plenty of squid, crabs and other wildlife to see, catch and eat 😊

Great for exercise of just a morning or evening walk. Always find a fisherperson or 2 to have a chat.
